Offense: QB. Taylor Martinez. He's almost useless if he cannot run. he can really "zoom" a throw in but his accuracy is about C-. I thought they wouldve gave someone else a shot. Taylor panics too much. its annoying. He fumbles way too much and there will be a HUGE evaluation come next year on who starts at QB. He's only a RsF and injured but it seems to me he can't read on the option when we play against good defenses. If he can learn how to be a QB along with his athletic ability then sky's the limit but Trust me when i say..Brion is lickin his chops. RB. Helu also has a fumbling problem. He made a great play on the TD but he can be our worst enemy as well. Where did he go in the second half? If you didn't know by now Rex is the real deal and is a product of consistency. He also has a great athletic ability that i think is underrated. He's in my opinion our best offensive player. He' great. Wr. I expected a little more out of them. Cant blame them if balls are always being thrown behind them. they made the plays when they had the chance. Miss Niles now? i sure did. I'll even say we Win with him. Q. enunwa should be redshirting. what a waste. TE. I thought kyler was gonna have a big explosive play but Martinez kept him covered tonight. Cotton had some nice blocks but didnt notice much OL. Run blocked pretty well. OU does have talent so you have to give them respect. The wildcat was nearly unstoppable. Should have never stopped running it. Pass Blocking was dreadful although the Qb is in charge of adjusting to that. D-Line. Played well. Im sure they think they couldve gotten more pressure at times but overall they played well. Great during certain parts of the game. Did anyone see Chase Rome after the game? Huge. LB.(or Lavonte) They played well. Lavonte looked very good for the most part. Dejon did well filling in the gaps. Hagg i thought for the most part did a very good job. Ou is gonna get theres and Hagg made sure to limit them DB. Prince in my opinion had his worse game of the year. worst then OKst. and whats weird is that he still played well but he got burned a few times and had trouble coming back to the ball. Dennard is lights out until the pump fake/double move is utilized. his aggressiveness sometimes gets the best of him. Cassidy would've had it if only he wouldve turned around a split second earlier. Courtney was laying the wood. Again Gomes and Hagg played well. They still played very well. Special teams. I thought they were pretty lights out except for some of the punt returns. Alex is greatest kicker of all time...and he knows it ;)Missed Niles, he always gives us the chance for a big return. would've been handy Coaching Staff. Offensive. Bo, we know that he only takes care of the defense and lets Wats and Happy Gimore run the offense. He needs to evaluate them as well as cotton. Cotton. I honestly believe should get the longer leash. He's bringing in elite talent and i think we should see what he does with "his guys". i hate how we don't posses a faster offense. We take way too damn long to get a play off and it really annoys me. we give the D too much time to read and rest. I'm not calling for anyone's head. If anyone it would be Gilmore first. He struggles to bring in recruits by himself. We lack Wr talent and thats whats separating us on offense. Watson needs to teach taylor how to be a REAL Qb and learn proper footwork which i could teach him. All of our Qbs throw off their back foot and we all know thats a simple fundamental in becoming a QB. Defense. They always have a flawless gameplan. They're not gonna hold everyone to 200 yards but they damn sure keep everyone in. Im glad to have them all and i truly feel bad for them. Special Teams. Coach JP has done a tremendous job ever since he got here and when the talent level rises you'll see even more stellar Special Teams play. Overall Im disappointed we lost. It seemed like we were somehow gonna win the game but then it ended. Give OU props for taking advantage. If there is one team I'd lose to, its them but simply put. we gave them the game. I think they know that. We can still hang our heads up high. I hope we get a great Bowl. I wish they could come back down to San Diego again. (I live in OC). This is only year three of the Pelini Era. Much Brighter days are ahead of us guys. Lets demolish our next opponent.

I think he should just take one look at their secondary..and id say it should reaffirm his commitment. i understand the roots but it makes no sense

Win out and its a success. We're still in the process. We have a stellar recruiting class on the way that can do some serious damage as soon as next year. Winning the Big 12 is a huge step for us. We're clearly progressing. Win friday and i believe everyone will be back to normal and excited for the big 12 championship. One week at a time guys. Oh and BTW, everyone get excited this game has huge recruiting implications. major recruits will be there and could bolster our class even more. Also its senior day, you know thats gonna be tough especially with the many seniors we have on our team this year. we have plenty of reasons to be positive.

We need another wr in this class at least.

I don't agree with any of this. Without Bo's passion and great coaching, Our D isnt playing lights out. The man is getting screwed and quite honestly if I was in his position i'd be pretty close to ringing the officials neck too. The man feels handicapped and he knows no other team in the country has to play like Nebraska does just to win a game. He feels his players have to play with one arm around his back and thats simply not fair. As far as recruits go, they dont care about all that. they know we got screwed and dont mind Bo getting all crazy. Bo loves his players and they know that. The Martinez situation is interesting. If the "texting" rumor is true then maybe Taylor deserves it but who knows. It also could've been a inspirational "if you want to be the best, this is your time" kinda speech. One thing you also have to take into consideration is that Taylor walks around like he doesnt understand the moment. almost like he doesnt care as much as he should. Im not saying thats true or anything but at this time you have to take everything into consideration. Lets also take into consideration that he might be scratching his head on how inept cody green is. He prob cant believe how unpolished this guy is. Think about the stress he has to deal with because he has to coach a nearly perfect Defensive game just to have a chance to win. I dont blame him to be going crazy. He prepares his ass off every week and has a great gameplan and it all goes to waste because he gets screwed. Really put yourself in his shoes before you judge.

Keep the rage Bo, btw i dont think he was tearing a new one into Taylor, I believe he was being fiery and passionate and telling Taylor that if he wants to be the next big thing, the time is now. I dont think it was as bad as it may seem. oh and Osborne is not Pelini. I back Bo on everything. He's passionate. Put any other coach in his position and see how they react. Bo isnt soft and doesnt care about the whole "class" issue as much as everyone else does. quite simply. Nebraska was soft and weak for 10 years. He's turned them into a bunch of physical football players who display the passion he does. Bo does it his way.

I'm as mad as anyone. Im not even gonna speak on the fact that we're getting piped, quite frankly many people are gonna do that for me. As fans we feel awful, im sure plenty are outraged and maybe even shed a tear. But lets all think about the players and lets really think about how they're feeling. im sure its even worse. guys its clearly us against the WORLD. We need to show nothing but absolute support. Lets rally around them more than we ever have! Our players fought, I have no problem with how anyone played. we could critique them for sure but right now and for the rest of the season its gonna be all positive vibes. This is OUR football team! Our team goes further than the roster, it goes WORLDWIDE. We will stand by them and fight with them. We are gonna need all the help we can get and then some. Lets show THE WORLD that no matter how much they try to keep us down, WE will still get up and keep fighting! As a fan base we need to stick by them and show no mercy for any opposing opponent. I know as a fan base we are polite but quite honestly at this point and for the rest of the season, there is no need. We leave this conference with a F U and be happy we're out. I had mentioned a while back that "california kids have no allegiance". What i meant by that was a generalization that California kids would rather stay home and when USC or Ucla comes around, they usually bolt for those schools. A lot of times these kids don't know anything about Nebraska until the coaches tell them about their prior success. A lot of times they just choose what school is their best offer rather than them really knowing if its for them. Its hard to bring california kids to the midwest.

A lot of talk has been that we're gonna have to adapt to the Big Ten and rightfully so. But i truly believe offensively we're gonna dictate how defenses react to us. Simply put. Taylor, Rex, Aaron, and possibly Heard is too much speed for a 4-3 defense in the big ten to handle. I know dennard kinda displays it as well but they dont have the type of athletes that nebraska will posses when we do the option read. i think nebraska might have an influence in the big ten and force some coaches to change some things. im just throwing that out there. I also believe that on D, the big ten is not gonna know what hit them when they see all this speed that we put out on the field. Even if we go back to a more traditional D, i think we're still gonna posses a clear advantage in speed. Also look for Kyler Reed to become an absolute superstar next year. He's gonna tear some D's up

There's one change i have to make..and thats Sirles. Yes he's talented and intelligent and will be a future star and possible all american. but I believe the only thing stopping Yoshi is the mental game. and he will be in much greater shape next year. Sirles is good but Yoshi has freak, top NFL left tackle talent written all over him

he also man-handled James Wilder, who is mr all everything, quoted as the player who can play any position. He's no doubt a 5*

if you remember when pelini had his recruiting press conference and he was talking about a coach allowing one of his players to play even though he didnt have the grades..pelini told him, "why would you allow him to play?" saying its like a tease to coaches because he really isnt eligible. i think there's a good chance that kid is braylon

Mark it down! Daniel Davie will be a stud! with excellent speed and weight training you will see how good of a player he is. Also dont forget, he's not a Nebraska boy, He's originally from Michigan. either way, its obvious he's a great athlete. You don't let great athlete's get away. his versatility is a huge plus. if he struggles to catch, put him at safety.

SO FAR, would you say that Nebraska has gotten over that "recruiting hump" where we can compete and snag top notch recruits every year? In my opinion, yes but its not at full force. But we are definitely on the minds of everyone again which is a huge plus.
