I really like this get. If he goes the baseball route we still have Jamal. If he comes here and decides on one sport after a year, he has the capability to affect the sport he chooses. Either way he is in a Husker uniform.
B The Big Ten folk sure seem to be easier to get along with than most of the Big 12 schools. Every one seems excited to have us.. Here is a Big Ten site. They had our logo up minutes after the presser. Oh yeah look around they'll talk a little smack too. lol

God I bet OU hates this. Texas looks like a hero and gets their way, all at the same time.
Hey there ISU, MU, K-St., KU, and the rest of the south. Heard yawll just had lunch with Texas. Why do yawll have mayonnaise on your chin????
I may be the exception to the rule, but I rooted for any Big 12 school in bowl games.(yep even Texas) And as much as I have been looking forward to this move, there is a little pang of regret as we begin the farewell tour.
Now I hope all you Husker fans realize that there has been a huge bullseye placed on our back with the perception that we broke up the Big 12. So get ready for everybody's best shot.
Now once the season is over and the bowl season begins, I will be a fan of any Big Ten school in a bowl game except the one that is playin' us for the National Championship. Now wouldn't that be a great way to make a grand entrance to the Big X. NU vs. insert Big Ten team here, for all the marbles. Talk about startin' a new rivalry.
Craig James is still blaming TO for us leaving. James, Mr. Credible himself.. Said TO wanting to leave for stability reasons is wrong, cuz it would be the Big 12 would be stable if it weren't for us... I used to like this guy.
The Big X will now have 12 teams if no one else. That being said. C'mon Husker fans show your football knowledge. We WILL NOT play Penn. St. every year. Why would the furthest east team be in the same division as the furthest west team? I guess it's always nice to dream...
Why? Are they going to fire Cogrove?Wow, I typed his name with out cringingthats probably because you misspelled it.
:laughpound That's a good one right there.
Iowa. And I'm looking forward to the change. I got to lold to take the hassle and abuse that comes from the Fluffalo's. I don't believe there is any way that Iowa fan's could be that degenerate. Going to Boulder is brutal and overboard abuse.
I think part of the reason we are hearing this Texas to the Big Ten banter is because that Texas has already been slapped in the face. They sure didn't get their way with the Baylor deal. Larry Scott has pretty much let it be known with that move that the Horns will not be in charge. And I did vacation in Wisconsin. The Dells are cool(touristy but the history is good). And to all you Husker fans planning a trip to Madison. Take an extra day and go to the House on the Rocks. It's near Green Springs I believe. We planned on 2 hours, took 5.
I would think it would be completely silly to have us in separate divisions. So every year it is. I am kinda lookin forward to it. I have family in Dyersville, and they are a blast. Sadly, most are ND fans. Don't yell at me. I'm Catholic too and personally I don't care for them at all. So here's to an Iowa rivalry...
I am anxious to see if all these niceties are flying around in say 5 years...lol Right now I am impressed... I for one will manage to have some sort of disdain for all opponents on any given Saturday.
