  1. His hashtag looks like it says blackshitThought the same thing...
  2. In this contest of who has the bigger wiener, you guys seem to be proving that neither can win.
  3. What in the hell is this staff doing, are they slow playing him? Get him on board already?!??!?!?!1!!!!!11 Weird prophecy fulfilled.
  4. I noticed his "low" position ranking is still a four star. All the sites but ESPN (who doesn't really count) have more than 50 four star WRs. Is the WR talent that good or are they just pumping everyone up? Pretty ridiculous.
  5. Who are the better guys you know of that have high interest?Mychale Salahuddin out of Washington DC and Keaontay Ingram out of Texas. Both have breakaway speed and quick twitch that Grahm doesn't have. Grahm is a power up the middle strong guy who doesn't have the extra gear or speed to breakaway. The other guys are more multipurpose backs and Reggie Davis wants a do it all player.Do either of these guys have us as "high interest" or is it wishful thinking?

  7. A+ job on missing the core concept of what I said. @Warrior10...So because he wasn't born in Nebraska (although he currently lives in the state) we shouldn't count him as an in-state recruit worth trying to keep? @Decked...no one, certainly not me, is saying the "...staff is stupid..." And if it is a genuine tie (in terms of talent) between an in-state and out-of-state kid, I would hope the staff would go after the in-state kid first. So you'd take him over the top ranked DT in the country, because he lives in Nebraska? If "talent" is equal...YES! I agree with this, if they're equal. But that's not the argument you laid out in your "cold take." If Williams was a top 10 DT in our back yard, I'd agree with you. Fact is he's not and we already have one three star NE DT verballed in a small class. Let's go get the best talent we can!

  9. I believe it is because other players are ranked so much differently by each service. His are all pretty similar whereas another player could be rated, let's say 25 spots in front of him by one service, yet 1 spot behind him in another. The 2nd players composite would be higher even though ranked behind him in a service or two. I get that, but I just don't see it adding up in this case. Oh well.
  10. I clearly don't understand the composite. They're lower than all four of his individual rankings.
  11. Crazy that he's one of the top players in the country after most recently being a backup.
  12. Mel Gibson was in that? That would be Mel Brooks. Where was Hedley on this one anyways? Let's take it as a chance to get back on topic.
  13. How did a team with two stud corners give up an average of 23 points a game last year? That seems really high. Is the competition that good in their league?
  14. The article suggests he's stuck as the 3rd DT behind two studs. Can increase his role/snaps at almost any other college.Sounds familiar... Scott Pagano is not a backup! He started four games, so he's a backup and projects to be one this year (http://www.nmnathletics.com/fls/28500/pdf/football/2016-17/DepthChart.pdf?DB_OEM_ID=28500_ID=28500&ATCLID=210944425). But this is different than Kevin Williams, if that's what you're referring to Matty. He was stuck behind two studs who left early for the draft. He would have been in line to start here.
  15. 40 for Nebraska is an F. 40 for Eastern whoever is an A+. This is a Nebraska message board. Therefor 40 is an F.
  16. Easy call, just hard to see him going anywhere else with his brother already here. His other brothers went to OU and ISU, so it's not as far fetched that he'd go elsewhere. Hoping he follows Matt.
  17. This would have been a great point to make last year but we just snagged three four star guys two days ago, including a consensus top 100 player. Two other AAs had us second but location kept them home.
  18. I too wish we brought in more players, but 102 means a lot of guys are not sticking around in the program. I'm guessing when you recruit at Alabama's level, kids transfer when they see someone else in the way of their playing time. We're not there yet.
  19. You don't pull an in-state kid's scholly who you thought was good enough to offer in his Jr. year. You'll piss off all the HS coaches and they can help feed the walk-on program. You got one guy you like. Go spend a bunch of time on a few big-time kids, knowing you have one in the fold already.
  20. Surely you can't have a composite ranking with Scout. It'd be an average of 247 and rivals and whatever ESPN gets from their interns that cover recruiting.
  21. Alright coaches, you got two more schollies for this class. Go get em!
