Stanley Jean-Baptiste joined UNL in the summer, seemingly out of nowhere as I recall. I think last year is an indication we might consider a graduate transfer post spring. That's also when some more shake out after things become clear in the spring on teams' depth charts. Matt Slauson was a summer add too IIRC.

Hope he's good enough to play early, but with Spielman and Lindsey, it'll be crowded for that role. Will be good competition. Glad to have him on board! As of now, I think the only way we RS a WR is if they have an extensive injury in Fall Camp, where they miss too much time. Otherwise, they will all play. If we get a fifth WR I sure hope we can RS at least one to even things out class-wise. We graduated three WR and have four coming back I think will play with Reimers, JD, DPE and Stanley. Hopefully Keyan is something too. If all these true frosh will play some significant snaps I'm all for it. But ideally we get at least one to RS.

Yeah, sounding like Thompson is Utah so I'm changing my mind. Josh Harvey not painting a very rosy picture. He says we finish with Blades, Rafdal, Daniels, Wallace and Onyemaobi and lose Thomas to Pittsburgh. None of the others listed nor Hawkins, Lenoir or Verdell. That would put us at #23 in last year's rankings, FYI. I think we'll be a little rosier than that, just my opinion.

See this is a case of who cares. And bumping guys like this only sends the recruiting obsessed into a state of tingle that shouldn't be reached while sitting in their mothers basement with only the glow of their computer screen as their only source of vitamin D. As fans, we'll find out results of the ten on NSD, but coaches should find out from most a few days early. They should be pretty comfortable with where they're at by the weekend. Problem is, Sunday is a "quiet period" and after that starts a dead period.

Carlos and Khalil Davis say "Hi" As mentioned above, he decommitted because of the coaching change. When that happens, I think that there is a much better chance of the player recommitting than if he decommitted w/o a coaching change. The Davis twins never decommitted.... This is correct. Took a couple visits during this time, but both remained committed. Anyways... Let's-Go-De-Mo!

We pulled an offer from a kid named Aaron Bouzos about five years ago. I don't remember all the details but IIIRC he lied about his height and had some exaggerations from his h.s. coach about how good he was. Back up at Cal Poly. Good call on pulling it. That being said, this kid from UCONN got a raw deal after being told he still had his scholarship.
