Agreed five years minimum, i mean you have to have a chance to bring in some recruiting classes and make it your team. BC has balls coming to NU knowing how outrageously NUTZ the Husker Nation is with expectations. He either believes he can do it or he loves pissing off millions of fans and being chased out of Nebraska by a columbine and a an angry mob of farmers with pitchforks

Yeah I hear those montana games are real loud, maybe the sheep getting stooped are but other than that I just dont hear many talk about the crowd noise in Montana. homeboy is in for a real treat i hope he brings some ear plugs

Then: it all started when i was twelve i went to my first home game and that is what sold me on Nebraska Football. Of course it helped they never lost. We followed the band around and looked at all the trophies and such. I was just amazed the first time I heard "there is no place like nebraska" with the band no more than 5feet away. It was deafening and beautiful. We then took in the Bookstore which is amazing. Floors filled wall to wall with memorabilia of all the Husker greats past and present. and Now: walking around campus breathing in the air from the stadium is electric and makes you feel like a kid again. hearing the roar of the stadium from the fans pouring in and the band sounding the drums of war is too great an emotion to describe. i stood as close as I could to the tunnel walk last year and i tell you it was one of the greatest experiences of my life. i encourage all husker faithful to save money and make time to go on a pilgrimage to the great mecca of college football

You know what Green has been blessed. Let me explain. RBs in the NFL go through alot more damage than a CB and a CB usually lasts longer (career wise). I think Green will be a excellent corner this year. He has the size, speed and toughness to put a hurting on most anyone in the league. I like it! Now if we can get Leon or Marlon to move over to safety...

Thats great we have 4 solid but you dont think a WCO offense needs more than 4 solid receivers? I am sure Cally will not redshirt one receiver this year unless they are seriously injured. Some receivers will be only used in certain formations due to their specific skill. So unless his knee is blown he will be back and will be welcomed IMO

Brooks will be fine, he wont be a starter right away but to say he needs to redshirt is absurd. We do not have as many receviers as recruited, losing two to being dumbasses so we need Brooks for his size/speed even if it is only a couple plays/formations. If he is really good he will be a starter by mid-season. This sucks but maybe we will just run a bit more and as we all know we have serious depth and options there...

well i dunno if it will help more than the tradition of winning and the fan pride/loyalty but if it is positive then sure why not...after all some people dont even know where Nebraska is so maybe the show will put it on the map. if anything i would it could help enrollment in the student body, especially if it is portrayed as some sort of "party school" any news on when it airs?

Well rest assured if Cally cant coach (which i dont believe) then we will have awesome athletes for the next coach. but it is true great players alone dont make championships, look at the yankees. It takes chemistry like NE Pats built. People taking salary cuts making sacrifices to win. It is awesome to have blue chips but those chippers have to let go of their pride and egos and play like a team. I think this will happen at NU.
