  1. Priceless. Blaze, for your sense of humor and images of lovely ladies, I salute you. Remember the ALAMO!
  2. Rivals just declared him a 5.8 four star. #14 in their top 50 JUCOs edit: you guys were all over this in his profile days ago. Hopefully, he is not so forgotten now
  3. Hey dude! Welcome to Orlando. I hope you see this, I've never been to this section before and was looking myself. Cause the old watch site, Friday's Front Row, the one listed at the top, closed down. It sounds like a place called JB's Sports Restaurant, formerly JB's Sports Bar, is getting the game. 4880 South Kirkman Rd 407-293-8881 It's kind of on the west side of Orlando, just north of the attractions, on the Southwest corner of Kirkman and Conroy. I just called them and the girl who answered thinks that they are getting its and told me to call back later and ask for Tony. Hope to see you there.
  4. Interesting read. So is Moglia our new GM.... or what?
  5. Ha, you're killin it Irie. I ran out of +1s for the day but I've recorded it on my score sheet at home.
  6. Looks like Cam is dropping Adidas and signing with K-Swiss this year (Warning: Minors should be accompanied by adults. Contains crude language and adult situations.) Cam's new gig
  7. Over on the HI free board, BGII mentioned that Smith is leaning towards hanging it up for good (as of now). Hopefully, once he has had some time to rest and heal, he'll give some more thought to returning. And on a side note, how do you think Mike would fare as a blocking tight end? I was wondering about this recently, just before his injury: It seemed as if he got passed on the depth chart and would be running with the twos this season. He played a little TE in high school, and I think that he has always had trouble keeping on lineman weight. Does anyone think that he would be an effective tight end in a power or goal line formations? Or is that just the moonshine talking?
  8. Prince, maybe? I'd go with Suh, and I think Ganz would be successful in this system
  9. Big Bro: Any word from Stan on how things are going? thanks
  10. Just watched the highlights. The play at 1:02, were they playing the Little Giants? Those guys are terrible.
  11. Wouldn't it be beneficial for our ranking during the season, to be ranked high as possible in the preseason? I know that preseason rankings are based on hype and little else. And Lord willin', I hope we win them all, but say we lose to Washington. Wouldn't we have a better ranking the following week if we started out at #6 as opposed to #12? Or by season's end, does it not really matter? Thoughts?
  12. As mentioned above, the oline will be deeper and most likely, better. The running backs should be improved compared to last year with another year under their belts. I don't think the receivers will be any worse. Between Niles, Kinney, and McNeill, we should have some go-to guys. All of that adds up to a better situation for our QBs. Zac, Cody, and Taylor will all have another year in the system. I would hope that they didn't regress any and that the competition will be fiercer than last season. It certainly can't get any worse. I'm going to let this thing play out and am confident that the offense and quarterback play will be much improved this season. GBR
  13. Thujone, that is really funny. Thanks for taking the two minutes to put that together. Also, I didn't see anyone post this yet, but on the HI site, someone mentioned that this website was created by the Omaha World Herald. They have the domain name registered at GoDaddy. Just wanted to pass that along.
  14. I hope that list was a countdown to #1.
  15. Awesome post. Hopefully McNeill will have more success when he's covered by guys not named Prince or Alfonzo or DeJon or Eric or PJ or....
  16. Great post. Thanks for those stats. I agree HuskerGuy. Even with all of the what ifs in his career, the numbers don't lie. It's pretty clear that he has set himself up to be one of the all-time greats. Peterson, Nunn, and Swift have all earned a top five receiving spot in the last couple of years. No doubt, impressive. But, if Roy can achieve that on the ground, he'll go down in Husker lore. This season will determine his legacy. No pressure though
  17. What a goddess. A true vision of femininity.
  18. Reeves looks like he was in the middle of cuttin' one loose when that picture was taken.
  19. I wish this kid all the success in the world wherever he goes. But in the back of my mind I can't help but hoping that he's not smart enough for our own good. You know, in a standardized test kind of way.
  20. Adi should be fine. Its already been mentioned that kickers are rarely drafted. I don't think that NFL scouts will let him slip through the cracks. They will be well aware of his big leg and the fact that he played behind our most decorated kicker in history. And we've had some good ones. He'll have a chance to earn a spot in camp like almost all other kickers. I think that he already hit the lotto with a four year scholarship as a kick-off specialist. I don't mean that as a slight, I think that he is clearly worth it and hope he has a long, fruitful pro career.
  21. I would think so. I think that recruits in town during basketball season attend games quite regularly. On the academic side, I want our Huskers to be the best they can be, but I would hope that our recruits would place a higher priority on book learnin' than they do football.
  22. Is there any chance we still go after Hundley? I feel like we're set now, but there is no guarantee that Starling ends up in Lincoln or that Jamal will finish out as a QB.
