How much attention do players get? Daishon Neal walked into 9:30 class at ~9:55 today, wrote his name down on the attendance sheet, said hello to the professor and walked back out. She just kept teaching. She chastised someone for being late who showed up at 9:40. This is exaggerated...I never noticed athletes getting treated any differently whatsoever. I think Riley like many of us thought that with better talent Banker would put together better defenses. But his defenses got exposed on numerous occasions against teams that it shouldn't have. Facing the teams that we do in the west there is no reason to not have a top 15 defense. The offenses are that bad. I am extremely happy that Riley, Eichorst, or Devaney are not content and looking for improvement.

But it isn't even that way though. For every 3 Husker fans, I guarantee you there is some OSU fan who has decorated their profile and made it their mission to be the most obnoxious, idiotic "Husker fan" these recruits have ever seen - on purpose. I've seen those too. But they're not the ones that I'm talking about, it's usually easy to tell who is a troll and then the die hard fans who haven't learned boundaries yet Edit to add: I think the majority of our fans know boundaries but the 15-20 die hards that don't paint a poor picture for the rest of us. (Which probably happens to some extent for all fan bases)

It's basically the same 15-20 accounts too. I feel terrible for the kids that get bombarded by Husker fans whenever they tweet something. I don't have an issue with favoriting a tweet when they mention the huskers but writing out all the reasons to come to Nebraska and basically begging the kid to come here is sad. I've seen something as basic as a recruit tweeting thinking 💭 and then 20 Husker accounts all jump in saying hope your thinking gbr ect... makes Nebraska look bad in my opinion

His girlfriend plays soccer for Oregon I'm pretty sure. I'd love for him to end up at UNL but it doesn't seem likely
