  1. And the main thing the Skers forgot to tell you is that since we are moving to the Big Ten, we will no longer be able to successfully recruit the state of Texas.
  2. So wait Im confused, why is it bad that Beebe took the hammer to a guilty SMU? Is it because he didn't sanction other SWC schools? Where other SWC part of the investigation? Have you seen the show yet? If yes, did you really listen to Beebe's tone in his interviews with the director? His sense of self ego was massive. He was abashed that the SMU folk mocked his authority and still sounded overly bitter about that still. He continually talked like the SMU boosters and others involved had no spines. Kind of ironic how the spineless act these days isn't it Mr Beebe.
  3. Saw 'em at Knickerbockers last night. One hell of a show
  4. My biggest beef with the three asshats that were on the show is that both McShay and Cunningham made reference that Locker is now healthy and that would be a factor. HELLO? He was healthy the first time. That was a healthy, uber-hyped, strong armed Jake Locker that went 4-20. That 4 for 20 sound was his Heisman chance going down the pooper. Him being healthy has nothing to do with the matchup. Morons Do I think Locker will play better? Absolutely, he can't get worse can he? Nothing Washington can/will/attempt to do will directly affect the outcome of this game. It completely depends on what Nebraska team arrives in San Diego. Motivated, end the year with a statement NU or we're here, whatever NU. My money is on the first option. 35 confidence points and put the mortgage payment on it as well.
  5. ron freeman, despite being from missouri, was made executive director of the kansas republican party after josh signed with KSU. That's right. I thought he did get a job that was completly a WTF moment.
  6. So obviously nexy year UStupidC must be planning on using 2/3 of their alloted schollies on offensive linemen to stockpile the other side of the line. Watch out for the OLine recruiting wars with USC next year
  7. Didn't Josh Freeman's dad get a job in Craphatten or with KSU specifically
  8. Not a shocker at all. This kid probably can't even decide what shirt to wear on most given days. Every school he unofficially visited throughout the year became the clubhouse leader when he got home. Whatever the flavor of the month was, that's what the kid ate. It's just too bad NU was the flavor of the month in the summer, not winter. And yet Slock Rick jas somehow been able to maintain the flava the whole time. Good riddence Micky Johnson, not a big loss at all.
  9. He said he is going to announce his decision at the Army All-American game in January. Has Nebraska ever even gotten a commitment during a high school All-American game? None that I remember. We have had plenty of kids play in the game. Nyan Boatang(god we should of got this kid for his cool name alone) is the only kid I can even remember that announced during the game that even had a NU hat on the table. That was the year of Callahan's uber-class.
  10. And Seagoville is what kind of school? 4A, 3A, what? Is he a man among boys playing really poor competition? Texas residents clue me in.
  11. looks like he has in homes Mon-Thurs this week. Muschamp, Ricky Neweasel, and Michigan My lord I hope the Lyons' have an exterminator and exorcist scheduled to swing by there Thursday morning to cleanup all the venom, poison, lies, and empty promises that will be left all around after that trio. Let's hope Wayne sees through the BS and takes Bo's straight forward approach to heart.
  12. Well neither are Quincy or Ciante. So I guess the whole thread is now bogus.
  13. Santa Claus. Crap a couple of weeks early I guess
  14. I wonder how quickly former player and former canidate(when they hired Shannon) Greg Schiano of Rutgers would have came running. He shot them down to stay at Rutgers cause he had talent there, namely Ray Rice. Now Rutgers has reassumed middle of the pack Big East status. Maybe ya should've took the job a couple of years ago.
  15. Great choice. Probably was hard not to vote for anyone else after all the crap Ricky has dealt with in his young life. Congrats man
  16. Playing for the Huskers vs boning a girl dream. Hmm......I am actually willing to bet some guys would wake up pitching a tent just as big after the football dream. My god, what the hell have I became after typing that response on this board, Thank god it wasn't at a monumental post number or anything
  17. One of the main points of the story was the bidding wars between all the SWC Texas schools over Texas high school kids. Eric Dickerson got a gold Trans AM from A&M and the SMU coaches thought they were toast. The reason they got the death penalty was that while they were on probation for the first findings of paying off their players, the boosters decided to continue to pay the kids they bought to try to prevent them from going to the press. The 30 on 30 was put together great and was one that even my wife watched straight through and enjoyed. It is probably my second favorite right behind the one on the U. FYI Dan Beebe was the lead investigator in the case for the NCAA, his interviews just further his douche status.
  18. I agree EZ. Like I said up a couple of posts, his personal comfort will be his biggest deciding factor and with all that family down that way, I like you will not be shocked if he switches. But it would still make me feel like this Definitely think we need to start making a BIG TIME push at another db who's school is falling apart.
  19. Ok, Florida is now back in this thing with the hire of Muschamp. That is scarey. Maybe we need to make a BIG TIME push for someone?
  20. Seriously people in need of a good laugh, this threads for you. From dogging Boomer cause Stoops was going to Florida to the reality that it is Coach Boom. Good stuff. KARMA IS A MOTHA EFFER WHORNS
  21. It's a beautiful day for a visit. Both Wayne and Kent need to realize if they want to pursue their dreams to continue to play football at the highest level, at least half of the NFL teams are in locations where the weather is just as bad if not a little worse. I am sure they both realize this, but kids that sight weather as a reason to not give a schools a chance are throwing out a lame excuse.
  22. Sorry but I totally disagree with this. UW played VERY well. They got kills on great swings when they were out of system. That Carlson owned NU tonight. They are a very good team, as are all of the top four Pac 10 teams. They took advantage of pretty much every NU miscue. A lot had to do with NU playing poorly at times in the match and completely not showing up in the first set, but UW played nearly flawless tonight. Unfortunately for them we will remind them who daddy is in a couple of weeks.
  23. That call was hideous. As were a lot of others, but don't see how that related to the UW head coach situation. Not really sure if Cook really cared for the guy before this match.
  24. Must be a conspiracy in Seattle as well. After the ladies go down after about 10 questionable calls. And Cook is pissed
