  1. I'd give the three in a heartbeat. Yes I am that confident, felt this way against Washington, KState, and Okie Lite. If it makes you feel even better I took the points with KU, the Whorns and the Cyclowns. That feeling of a curbstomping is just lingering in me again.
  2. When was the last time that a recruit opened up his recruitment and stuck with his original school? The assclown TE from Florida....forget his name. He gets the assclown title for his comments about Florida and then went crawling back.
  3. Hey Tyler how the hell did the other guy come out? Is that a shiner?
  4. The TV announcers also said the crowd was fairly calm. I am thinking something about a temperature of 30 degrees had a little to do with it.
  5. Which would make him 1-1 The 09 OU game was in Lincoln. I think he meant to word it this way: As long as I am not the only one scratching my head trying to figure this one out.
  6. My favorite current Pelini stat though, would have to be after Saturday's win that is 9 in a row in the month of November.
  7. Unless your only counting road games 09 OU was also a road game. Which would make him 1-1 The 09 OU game was in Lincoln.
  8. He did have some good runs in the second half. A lot of it was to the fact that at that point in the game KU was banking on Taylor not even being a running threat and were locking in on Roy and Rex. However, when Taylor did keep the ball it was more than obvious that he is no where near healthy with his ankle. Healthy Taylor cuts back to the middle of the field going for more yards. Last night Taylor got some yards and then was looking for the quickest way out of bounds. Like I stated earlier, light week of practice, try to heal that wheel as much as possible and pray Barney has the big uglies bringing their A game Saturday.
  9. I'd call it a push honestly. The ankle evens out the running ability between the two. The fumbles is a wash. Throwing is a draw as well, with maybe a slight edge to Cody, with his better touch and locations with passes over 15 yards. Let Taylor rest that wheel up this week in practice and have Barney earn that paycheck and whoop the big uglies up front into shape and go to College Station and run it right down their stadium swaying arses(by the way it is one of the coolest things in the game to witness, the swaying that is).
  10. If it is an unstable high ankle sprain, which has been floated around here, he certainly could mess it up more. Unstable sprains bring the risk of effing up the tibia and fibula. More or less almost always bringing surgery into play to screw the ligaments back onto the bones. This is worse case scenario, but watching Taylor hobble around all night it is obvious he is at 75% if even that. The cold actually was a better playing scenario for him instead of it being hot and humid. Light week of practice for him and then off to clinch the North in HWSNBNH fashion, on the road in Aggie Land.
  11. On offense that game ball goes to Alex. Automatic as always with his kicks, and had some money punts. Defensively, I give it to Crick and Baker. The two inside guys controlled the whole game and didn't give up anything up the gut. Crick chips in extra with the two sacks.
  12. Ok, first off for the performance on offense, meh. Defense was lights outs tonight and for probably the first time this season swarmed to the ball for the entire 60 minutes. Alright, forgive me this post is probably at about 90proof, but for all those who hate the idea of Cody playing QB because he "fumbles too much" tonight should be the last night those words can be used as an excuse. Now in no way is this post trying to fire up a QB debate by any means, but Taylor is putting the ball on the turf an ungodly amount. I am a huge TM fan, but it is getting to the point where I am pulling what little hair I have left on my head out. Tonight he wasn't even hit hard, or even on the ball and out it came. Don't anyone give me an excuse that he may have been overcompesating for the bad wheel, cause if that is the reason the guy shouldn't have been out there. Crouch had a lot of fumbles, but the majority of those came from when he was pitching the ball off. Over and over again Tmart is coughing it up, and a lot of times it is from light contact. This is something I hope he starts to shore up real quickly because NU plays a very opportunistic team Saturday and there is no way a Big XII championship will be won against Boomer or Pokie if the turnover margin is not in NU's favor. 32 fumbles is a joke. A win is win and again this week we'll take it. TMart rest that bum wheel up cause NU will need it next week. And for the love of all that is powerful, hold on to the DAMN ROCK.
  13. Like this: Or this: Looks like he's about to go Donkey Kong on that player. EK is friggin awesome, but this will forever be my favorite Ekler on the sidelines moment
  14. It's alright Darien Bryant is the man for the plan. Keep on building those Ohio in roads.
  15. Willie you really feel De is a need? NU took five DE last year and Allen is the only loss from this year. I personally feel Walker Ashburn could easily be a Jared Tomich type player. Not well sought after, but has an extreme high motor. He was the Louisiana State Title Game MVP as a junior and played at a highly competitive high school, plus with his dad's job with the Saints he's been around the game so his knowledge should be great. I think getting a DE would be nice but not overly a need. Besides next year almost could be the year of the DE in the recruiting world. Agree about a DT and LB though. I think a TE would be very helpful as well.
  16. Uhh.....we have a basketball team?
  17. Yes just ask Mizzou(navy'09) and Alabama(Utah'08). To me it doesnt matter who we play in the bowl game. One of teams goals was to get to a BCS bowl, nobody should be complaining about that, pathetic. Throw Boomer in that grouping as well, thanks Boise look at the mess you've now created for all of us to mire in.
  18. The only wet fart of a chance that Nu doesn't play a Big East team involves South Florida. If they win the Junior High East, and the Orange Bowl takes them in an effort to use their local fanbase and proximity to sell tickets for the game. I can faintly see this happenning, remember when Va Tech played Cincy or Kansas(can't remember which one) and tickets to the game were like $20 so that the place wouldn't look like a graveyard. Again this is a weak chance but is viable. The worst part about a Junior High East team getting in a BCS game is that there is a rather large chance that an undefeated Boise or TCU could be regulated to the bowl in San Francisco and destroy like the 6th place Pac 10 school. Now that would be a big pile of BS
  19. Just watched one of the greatest scenes in movie history. Gene Hackman just measured the rim at the state finals for the Hickory Huskers

    1. huskerscott

      huskerscott

      that movie is freakin awesome

  20. Yeah. I think his decision along with Crick's will have a major impact on next year. I'd like to see them both stay but I'm not confident that either of them stay. I don't understand why there are so many thinking Crick will opt for the NFL. He's clearly not ready and it shouldn't even be a concern. Dennard is a concern, but I think he stays. One word. Lockout
  21. Hagg is awesome and of course reached God status when he was dating(and probably other things to) Tara Mueller
  22. Pitt is a strange brew. They have a stud RB in Dion Lewis, a stud WR in Jon Baldwin, and a stud DE in Greg Rome. They have the cornerstones of a decent team and are in a state that regularly turns out great HS talent. Their QB does suck and that has a lot to do with it. But there is something else holding this team up. What could it be? Hmm..........oh yeah I know it is their ambiguous gay asshat duo of coach and AD. The Stache and Pedey. PS Stache I personally blame you and Satan himself(saben) for destroying my Fish
  23. So far Wayne has visited both ND and UCLA, both in early September. He originally was planning his official here for the Texas game and then pushed it back to the Mizzou game. I think the injury played a small factor in canceling his visits so he could focus on becoming healthy to help his HS team out. Can't blame the kid for that. As far as his new official visit, he has said he wants to check us out and enjoys his chit chats with Beck, his lead recruiter. With his three officials left I can easily see him coming here, a token Florida visit, and what probably could be the biggest threat in this whole recruitment, Stanford. It is a shame that Wayne couldn't get the chance to see the madness that is gameday in person, but everything that he stressed in his questionairre he should find NU caters too perfectly.
  24. Haven't heard anything on Mitchell since the beginning of the season when he was in a little trouble
  25. Everything that I have heard still indicate a yes to a postseason visit(postseason as in after his year is over). He messed up his knee at the beginning of October and believe he missed the entire month and still may be out. He's set to announce his commitment at the AA All American Game. Which by the way he will be a teammate of Tyler Moore and Nik Sade. Start chirpping now Tyler.
