  1. Will be in town this weekend for his official
  2. CB/S Commit Aaryn Bouzos will be here Saturday for his official.
  3. Jamal is coming in as a QB, no doubt about that. But as many of us have said(and watch his videos and you probably will agree) think he is such an explosive player in the open field that you almost have to find a way to get the rock in his hands. Whether that is in a package with him as QB, RB, WR, whatever. Think Russel Shepperd and Percy Hervin, the kid is that freaky when the ball is in his hands. I'd personally like to see him in a Bobby Newcombe type roll if the QB thing doesn't work out. But the kid can throw and has a hell of competitve edge that the QB thing just might be his permenant home. Can't wait for him to get here. And that supposedly will be in January.
  4. i don't think our defense will change substantially based upon the league switch, so long as we keep getting/developing the type of players that make it work. I bet we will still see a lot of the peso in the Big X+II honestly. Other than the Buckeyes, Wisky and Michigan St. the rest of the teams primarily run some sort of variation of the spread offense. Hell Purdue's coach came out and said earlier this year that they are emulating Nebraska's offensive style since Marve got hurt. Illinois is in the same boat with Scheelhouse, who could become a stud, and we all know what Michigan will do with ShoeLaces.
  5. Seriously the dude is friggin huge. Is that really a zero behind the 5 or a spare white walled radial tire
  6. Great read but all I could think at the end was DAAAAAAMN that is one huge 5-0 in the last picture.
  7. Recipe for Mr. Jackson. Start with one plane ride with teammate David Santos chirpping in his ear how sweet the place is and how good NU is. Second throw in the best facilities in the nation from athletics to acedemia. Slowly mix in 85,000 loud and proud fans including those that will be chanting his name. Bake an overrated Mizzou team to a tune of 38-17. Watch the best secondary in the nation pick Blaine 3 times while controlling the game. Include one fired up Bo Pelini, and the in-state commits telling him how he will help round out four more years of a stout secondary. Finally on trip home, plan with Mr. Santos on how the city of Lincoln is not ready for the two of them tearing it up together during college. And that my friends is what needs to go down.
  8. Obviously all the ladies were on their laptops or iphones on HuskerBoard awaiting pages to refresh so they could get the latest in the AG decision. Hopefully they can pull it together, they looked very bad that first set. And I hate Faucett, I mean I'd probably donkeypunch her in a heartbeat, but I just loathe her.
  9. There is a very short and simple reason, and it is this
  10. Oh Aaron Green committed, that's a present suprise I guess I missed it when all this traffic CRASHED the sight and my computer was unable to connect to HuskerBoard. Well done Husker Nation.
  11. This thread is calming down too much for my liking. Time to stirr the pot a little. WHo is next after Option A goes down the pooper? Mull on that one and get the temperature up in this room. Just effing with ya'll. Let's get ourselves a RB TONIGHT!!!!
  12. Not overly worried about Darien committing to a school that the NC double a$$hole$ will decide to put on probation for supposed "lack of institutional control."
  13. This is where I definitely parked my car! It says free T-Shirt with flier.
  14. The 1620 guys made a great point. Why is the douche that had his image and reputation destroyed this summer over the conference falling a part, being the one to determine this suspension is warranted? Seriously there generally is a committee that sets such standards and any penalties that may be handed down. This is a man who the whole country was laughing at because of his ineptness and the utter BS that continued to spew from his mouth. Dan Beebe is the DOUCHE OF THE MILLENIUM!! By the way is all the talk about the hit even go one for so long, had the announcers not mentioned that the kid missed last year due to a significant back injury and impending surgery?
  15. Yes he has stepped up, but even bigger for Kyler is that he is finally gotten over his....how did we ssy this back in the day.....ah, yes pussitis. A couple of guys have told me that Kyler would get hit and it always was something major. This is a reason why he was rarely seen in games last year. He'd take a hit and make it into something more than it is. It is good to see him performing well this year and becoming a more physical player.
  16. We'd ssee Rome before Guy if anyone was pulled from their redshirt. At this time it is VERY unlikely that it'd happen.
  17. Justin DUI Blackmon and Kendall Hunter say what's up. NU failed to shut either down and I'd take 160 receiving and 2 TDs as slowed down for any of our WRs. I know it was one game and somewhat of an abnomally, but NU never did shut either of the two down. In fact one could thank OSU's OC for not tunning Hunter in the 2nd half and perhaps costing them the game.
  18. I want to see how the center and guards matchup against Mizzou's interior D. Caputo, R Henry, and Williams all seemed out of sync and probably played their worst game this year against Okie State. Theis push against the Tigers interior two and LBs will be a key match up. Even a little bigger now Mizzou will have a backup in at DT. I think Wats tries to bang it up the gut to help open up the outside for Taylor.
  19. Not a suprise and it's like NU really had a chance. Florida is getting a stud though. He made James WIlder look like he had concrete blocks for shoes when the two went head to head earlier this year.
  20. Supposedly it is being aired on a Catholic channel EWTN. That is channel 261 for DishNetwork owners. Damn it won't be in HD
  21. Ding Ding Ding. Plus 1 for you sir. Charles scorched Koz's super defense to the tune of 290. However he railed the Blackshirts that day for 216 of those yards in the 4th quarter alone. For some reason we really just gave up in the 4th quarter of that game, even when were leading. Charles had much more pedestrian stats, before he ripped off three HUGE touchdown runs in the 4th. Nobody wants to give Gabbert credit on the basis of Taylor's more video game like statistics this week, but there is no question who is the better/more talented quarterback, and passer, even when the H2H passing stats won't reflect that. But, it doesn't matter, because that did nothing for Freeman when he faced off on Taylor/Ganz. zoogs, if I recall it wasn't much that they gave up in that game. It was the fact that Koz blitzed the house every play and it was a matter of time until Texas blocked and attacked it right. Once Charles got three yards past the LOS there was no one left to touch him.

  23. adrian peterson? or barry sanders? Nope not All Day, 146 was the best he did. It has been done since Barry played and I believe 189 was his best
