  1. His jersey was ripped after the second or third jersey from being held and pulled on so much. And the play in which he was injured was a prime example of how the tackle was holding on to him the whole first helf.
  2. Oh, and as if he was bored with his offensive game he returned a pick 42 yards for another score. Obviously Coach Bielema and his staff haven't gotten the memo that Bubba is going pro next summer. Let's hope not(fingers are crossed).
  3. We are definately seeing sophomore year Aaron vs his junior year so far. Here's hoping that he continues tearing it up and then celebrates receiving his 5th star by committing to Nebraska. Upon which Rivals hears his decision and promptly drops him to a 3* Seriously keep on trucking AG #2. And his backfield mate Mr. Troy Williams, he will be seeing some big time offers if he continues at this pace, the kid is a stud. I'd be worried if I was Larry Coker!!!
  4. EZ is being awful easy on ya Chomper and a lot nicer than some other posters on this board. Although my post count ain't high, I've been a follower of the board for a couple years now, and EZ is on of the more respected written voices here. But now back to our regularly scheduled topic, 85 yards on the first play? What a waste of great football talent, damn MLB. I say it cause I kid, Bubba is a freak
  5. I love to get Jackson. He and Mitchell manning the corners and Wayne Lyons and Corey Cooper filling up the safeties....now yer talking about a secondary. Hopefully David Santos is helping him narrow down to the correct choice of college. I like your style Paul, but How about Jackson and Mitchell at CB, Cooper and Cash at safety, and Lyons running around all over at Peso back. Damn EZ completely bombed on remembering we somehow are swinging a visit from Cash. This would be a huge steal if we can snag him from OSU. How about them apples to start off Big X relations.
  6. Sorry needed to be a little more specific on the thread, those who think we need to wear all white uniforms on the road. All white as fans.... nope, that is for Happy Valley.
  7. If you do the Herbie thing, please go with the old blond in coveralls Herbie not this fake ass imposter Herbie that some recent blowhole AD thought needed to be upgraded to. Personally I am a fan of anything that has a bunch of these on it
  8. I got a fever and the only thing that will cure it is more B****outs threads are just as idiotic as "We should wear all White" threads. UGH...
  9. I love to get Jackson. He and Mitchell manning the corners and Wayne Lyons and Corey Cooper filling up the safeties....now yer talking about a secondary. Hopefully David Santos is helping him narrow down to the correct choice of college.
  10. Please don't give Craig Bohl any credit for this. It's UND not NDSU. Anyhow the Vandals look quite quick, a lot better team speed than I thought they would have. Enderle is playing very well and has made a couple of amazing throws. The WR's are ALL tall and athletic. Their TE looks like a beast with great hands and speed once he makes the grab. Defense won't over power ya, nor should they, but again very quick to the ball, hard hitting and very blue collar. Plus ya gotta love the dome with no seating in the endzones.
  11. I love Eric Martin for his heart and effort on special teams, but there are a couple of guys I'd feel better about being out there ithose being Mr. Whaley and Matt May. Plus hasn't Ekler and Carl said that the light has came on for Whaley during preseason camp.
  12. Even if LouisianaHusker is spot on, that could be the most tentative 100% in the history of recruiting. There's just something about a visit in sunny Tallahassee with beautiful women galore, and those two cent hookers who've sold their souls to Satan down in Austin that make me leery.
  13. If we take another lineman I believe it would be Hobbi or bust. I personally think we will be waiting for early Halloween treats after the Whoren game. And I am thinking at least three from that visit buffet of who's who. Plus Jamal Turner won't let any of the visitors get out of Lincoln without giving them a persuasive argument
  14. Adi has said he tried to kick that last ball in the B XII game to Houston more or less and his technique went right out the window with it. $hit happens when you get over jacked for anything. His whole wanting to redshirt stemmed from him wanting to show to scouts that he can do more than kick off. Selfish in a way, but with the limbo of the kicking game next year it was a viable option when it came about. I for one wanted him to play this year, but saw the thought process behind his reasoning. If Sade stays firm with his commit I believe we should be fine, hopefully the transition works out like the Brown boys did for us.
  15. No redshirt for Adi. Bo feels he can have too much of a positive effect on the kickoff game and help the team.
  16. WHOA To early to even try to comprehend or respond to this. MAybe after work when my brain is fried.
  17. The bright side of the schedule next year is that the Big Ten is giving us a week to prepare for Cosgrove's killer defense. What one Earth can Wats and the boys on O do in two weeks to prep for that? I'm thinking Bo's 1st Annual Round Robin Horse Shoe Tourney!!!!
  18. Gotta love the bye week to prepare for Cosgrove's def...defen...defen...I can't even bring myself to say defense for him. HAHAHA A bye week to prepare for "The Offenses Punching Bag Ubit"
  19. This is how I figured it would go down after the talk of the past couple of weeks. I like the split, however the straight east/west split would have been the ideal scenario for Nebraska and it's fans. Not as far to travel. Plus basing the split on recent records I feel with a true east/west split one could easily say that the west is stronger. I am stoked for the op to go to the Big House every other year, but as they say the game day in Madison is one of the best. Oh well, maybe in 2015 when the conference goes to a nine game schedule we may get Wiscy as a second cross over rivalry.
  20. irie, I guess then we should have every big time recruit on d like Wayne have a chit chat with Jamal Turner. That kids optimism and outlook for the program would cure all worries wouldn't ya say
  21. I thought Josh Bullocks was a game-changer. His 10 INT's in 2003 is an NU record. True, which is why I said close. Bullocks was no where near the run supporter that Brown was. ALso Brown was all over the place on special teams. Brown was a game changer, J Bullocks was a great player. How much of Bullucks success was due to sitting back as a center fielder in Bo's zones in 2003? Open question not a flame Fair enough. But turnovers are the epitome of changing the game IMO. As for the center fielder - none of the other safeties have performed as well in Bo's scheme including at OU and LSU. In 2007 at LSU Bo had a safety you may have heard of Craig Steltz a First Team All-American. He may have only had 6 picks to Josh's 10 but out performed him in every other stat. 101 tackles to 49, 3 forced fumbles to none(there's some turnover forcing) and throw in one sack to none. Bullocks was really good, and I was a big fan in 03, but in the same scheme under Bo you can easy say Steltz was a better safety.
  22. Is Cash coming for the Texas game for sure? I have heard his visit is for the Idaho game. Scout also is saying it's the Vandal game.

  24. Or he said the things that sound good to say on a Nebraska Football Program. I'm thinking after being invited as a guess the reply of "GOT MONEY"(you see that I also made fun of Mizzou's team motto) probably wouldn't have gone so good. You are right though his answers came out like he wants to play football, especially when referring to the other commits, but next summer will probably be a different tune me thinks.
  25. For the love of straight f%#king with people, I pray that Bo runs the Wildcat the first play of the game. Make everyone wait a little longer to see who steps up under center as QB. There ya have it REX BURKHEAD WILL take the opening snap on the year!!
