I'd like to know this as well. I didn't have the best seat in the east student section tonight as I was stuck behind a dang pillar and nobody around me was really watching at that point I saw Martinez toss the ball towards somebody, not sure if that had to do with anything, or not.

Glad to hear that your youngest is feeling better! Must have been tough to manage both kids at the same time. Huskerboard and Facebook are the anecdotes to many of my problems, too. GBR!

They definitely came to play, I'll give them that. I hate games against teams like SDSU. We have nothing to gain and everything to lose. We notched another W in our belt this year, though. I'll take an ugly win over a pretty loss anyday. Hats off to those Jackrabbits. I feel like going hunting all of a sudden..

Offense- I'm going to go with Kyle Minett. SDSU runningback had over 100 yards rushing on us and 4.0 ypc. The kid came to play today. Defense- I have to go with Lavonte David here, too. He had some good plays tonight and I think he's proving himself to be a pretty good linebacker. He'll only get better, too.

Hahaha... Oooohh what a bright, little spot in the middle of meltdown mode on HB. Probably the best post anyone has had tonight!

This is all that needs to be said. The onus is on them to prove they belong because they are in a joke of a conference. It is not Nebraska or Texas or Ohio State's duty to unnecessarily help them do so. In Boise's defense there aren't a lot of schools who want to go play them on the smurf turf. Thus putting them at a disadvantage most one game series to have the road team being paid, this weekends game set the huskers back $800,000. What Boise is asking is far from out of the ordinary. It is if they expect a return trip. You don't hand out cash for home and homes. There is absolutely no reason to schedule them with their ridiculous rules. Besides, we had marquee series scheduled until at least 2017. Agreed. If Boise State wants the respect that they're trying to get, then they can start playing the 'big boys' they're trying to become without having incentive packages handed to them. It shouldn't have to take $1 million to schedule a good opponent.

I'm going to this game with some friends and I'm pretty jacked about it. I have a couple of friends that go to K-State and they've said that the school is trying to do a b-l-a-c-k-o-u-t. We'll see how well that idea works.

Hope we can snag him.

With it being fall, football season is here. I know that everybody doesn't like country music, but Kenny Chesney has an amazing song out called "Boys of Fall" that a lot of people are doing mixes and voice edits. I posted his official music video to the song and it kind of brought a tear to my eye. It captures a lot of the spirit and emotions that go into the game of football and what it can mean to somebody. I hope we can focus on the passing game a little bit more. Get some things tuned up on our offense. I would think the coaches are going to try a few new things and then go back over them on film during the bye week. On any note, I just hope our sellout streak doesn't end

lol! Good point! He'd be in like Flynn if it wasn't for those damn interviews. Haha..... Could you imagine his Heisman acceptance speech if he did win the award? It would be the world's shortest speech. He'd probably just say, "Thanks" and walk off the stage

Had to take Gomes. I think he's just as good in coverage and stopping the run as anybody, but some of the plays that he can make sets him apart, IMO

When he showed up on the screen, I told my son to keep this guy away from our red baloons. I'm very certain I remember this guy from a show like Judge Joe Brown..except he had his mohawk colored green for the Seahawks. Did anybody else see that episode? He's got some great hair
