The loss of Farmer and Foster is apparent on the O-Line, but what about the defensive front seven? They looked really bad out there on the majority of downs, I really fear watching them go up against Wisconsin this year, we might give up 500 yards rushing in that one.

Nope, not worried at all. Frost was dealt a crap hand and is trying to make the best he can of it. Moos was spot on over the summer when he said 6 wins was the goal and most didn't believe it, some of that is on Frost and co. for promoting the idea that we were better than we were but also the media played a huge part in it. Fact is we are another two to three season away from being elite again. If we can get to 6 wins (going to be a difficult task) we can get to a bowl game and maybe get a little better. Don't expect next season to be much better but the win totals will gradually keep getting better til we are winning 10+ games every season.

I don't believe Frost is the issue, I believe Riley's stench still lingers and we aren't going to get rid of it for another 2 to 3 seasons. It isn't just the Riley players either, it is the Riley mentality that is buried deep in the psyche that is the problem. I expect things will gradually get better but don't expect us to be competing for the Big 10 West anytime soon. Still keeping my preseason prediction of 7 wins but it could be less. 2020 8 wins 2021 9 wins 2022 10+ wins

Offensive line - garbage Defensive front seven - garbage If anyone was wondering why Martinez was a head case this year, it is because he had ZERO faith in the line protecting him. If I had to worry about getting injured on every play, I'd probably be a nut also. What I can't figure out is how we end last season looking so good to looking so bad this year. Did losing the seniors really drag this team down that much? Right now I don't know if we can beat teams like Indiana, Purdue and Maryland, if we do, it will be very close in all of them. Wisconsin and Iowa are going to destroy us so get it out of your heads that we stand a chance against them.
