  1. This is garbage football. No excuse for this. Neither the coaches or players want to win bad enough.

  2. That wasn't supposed to be revealed until the bye week, Blackshirt39... I can't wait that long.
  3. All you need to see and hear to confirm this is the bullcrap Bo's former players are saying. Openly trying to poison the well. Bo was absolutely not the right guy for the job. He was a jackass. If he was so great, then why did no p5 school hire him? Why did no FBS team hire him?
  4. Oh sorry I misunderstood. Well just like the other posts above said it's about 60 miles north of Grand Island. Right in the middle of the state pretty much.
  5. Chanticleer is a rooster that leaves home to become a rock and roll legend, only to realize that he belonged back on the farm.
  6. Kinda right in the middle of the state close to Calamus. It's not the end of the world, but you can see it from there. Close to Calamus? You just said it was near a town I have never heard of. Alright Captain Technical. Calamus Reservoir is near it.
  7. Kinda right in the middle of the state close to Calamus. It's not the end of the world, but you can see it from there.
  8. Ummm... He must have went to Iowa. Sorry. He's had 8 rushes for 50 yards not 58 which is 6.3 average... Just ribbing you. I wouldn't wish Iowa on anyone.
  9. This is an opportunity not a curse. It's time for the coaches and players to treat it like one.

  10. You know what? I'm looking forward to it. He's never played in game with the first team, he's never played 3-4 drives a game to get a rhythm going, and he might provide a spark. Purdue couldn't be a better opponent to start him against. He doesn't need to be a world beater, just take care of the football and manage the game. If we can't run the ball effectively against Purdue to help him out, there are severe problems. Let's see what the kid's got.
  11. 10. Coastal Carolina and Ord, NE are the only 2 I'm aware of.
  12. No. But, what was Beck's offense is better than Langsdorfs. There's no refuting that. He also had Abdullah. #8 would improve this year's offense big time too. Also, I have no numbers to back this up because I'm lazy, but it feels like turnovers are down this year.
  13. The good news is that it is fixable, and if they fix that, our running game will improve. It needs to be addressed in practice though and not the film room.
  14. Do you have a gif of this play? A still picture doesn't tell the whole story. This picture looks to me like he is looking back to hear the QB or see if he is motioning. Linemen do that all the time. https://vine.co/v/eYO9mQi3IvE LG pulls and gets handed his lunch. Everyone on the D knows he's the pulling man because he is a half yard behind everyone else. Gotta get his ass on the LOS to help keep the play disguised. You run plays like you practice them. Edit: https://vine.co/v/eYe79VEqzdQ Here is another example. whole point is that you can't telegraph the fact your the pulling blocker. If the starter doesn't execute it, pull them for someone else. Still a coaching decision.
  15. Okay so this is bothering me. Who's the pulling lineman on this play? We might as well tell NW what direction the play is going. Also why we have gotten so many illegal formation penalties this year. Cheating our pulls. This comes back on the coaches and what's going on in practice.
  16. Just a thought. Perhaps "slow to develop" is more an indictment on the RB not hitting the hole with "authority", but delaying to allow it to open. Can't remember the NFL back, but watching the games the announcers commented that they liked him hitting the hole. Whether it was open or not as that was what the play called for. Not sure if that was the OP reference or if it meant "slow to develop" as in our sweep or dive etc takes to long to actually execute from snap to hand off.... It's just an eye test thing to me. There is probably no real metric for it. I mean you could time every running play but none of us has that kind of free time. I think it's because we start our RB moving sideways and not down hill. Imo below is the gif of what a quick hit power play should look like, not the one True posted above. Weird it won't let me embed the gif. Here is the link: LINK Edit: Timing is probably a better way to say it than "slow developing"
  17. Fair enough True. I 100% agree on the effort of the players. It's absolutely terrible. You play like you practice, and I don't think practice has been hard enough.
  18. His playcalling was suspect yesterday. Our run game was way too slow developing and he needs to run more misdirection. They were over-pursuing everything. Tommy's QB Counter is the perfect example of that. Also our screen plays weren't developing and he kept going to that well. Now it's not all on his playcalling. Your points are valid. But we are not going to win many games slinging the ball around 50 times. We don't have the personnel for it.
  19. Langsdorf is literally responsible for the offense's execution. He's paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to get them to execute. THAT'S HIS JOB! Are we clear? If someone isn't executing you sit their ass. No one is being held accountable for their job on the field. That's what is wrong with this offense.
  20. 11-1 votes. I miss nothing about that conference. B1G is great, we need to fix us and it will be fun.
  21. His footwork is horrendous, he forces the ball into bad situations and worst of all, he turns his back on the play when pressured. Now is the perfect time to make a change. We aren't going to a bowl game unless something drastically changes. Purdue is next. Might as well give the young guys some reps. You might find a spark. I don't care if he was voted captain. Gangwish & Westerkamp are the only captains that have played like one. Maybe sitting on the bench for a game will make him realize he won't play making mistakes. But you know, that would require a coach being a coach.
  22. Take Collins off the field. That is unacceptable.
