Why is there a need by some fans to act like Coach Osborne? If anything Coach Pelini's behavior is more similar to Bob Devaney. Don't understand why you have to have a "personality" to coach at Nebraska.

Lets not count out Kansas State. As crazy as it sounds they could win the division. For some reason they have Texas' number.

I look at the natural progression: 9 wins in 2008 10 wins in 2009 We'll see this year. . .

Say the Huskers split the next two games then win out. There is a possibility that a 6-2 conf record may not be enough to win the North this year. This is assuming that Mizzou goes 7-1 in conference. I don't know their conf schedule. Would a 11-2 with a bowl victory be considered a disappointment (with the assumption the team does not qualify for the conf championship)?

I would not put too much stock into Missouri beating Texas AM. The Aggies have mailed it in for the year.

I'm curious to see if anyone would be interested in heading out to the Dayton area on Sat night to watch the game? It's short notice but I already spent money on the Idaho game and I really don't want to spend an additional 40 bucks on South Dakota State.
