I got an itch to bring out my damon benning and clester johnson Lightning jerseys now... If they can bring back what the lightning had I think it'll be great, if its like the capitals... Not so much. For some reason that never felt quite right. But at 70-90 bucks per ticket for 6 games I figure its worth a shot.

Anyone gonna be getting tickets for this? Lincoln's new indoor football team. I bought season tickets Monday and am excited for this. I got the chance to be a ball boy for the Lightning back in the day and am hoping this will be as good as I remember those games. They already have quite a few Huskers (Marlon Lucky, Cory Ross and a few others)

I think Ndbraska already has a club team that used to travel and play other big12 teams when I went there. Obviously they would need some upgrading but it's a start toward a team... I'd pry rather have a hockey team but Lacrosse is fun to watch too.

There is one that shuttles from Gateway Mall on 60th and O st. Taking the waverly exit, (408/9 I think?) would be how I would do it.

Yeah Phat Jacks is legit. As far as I know famous Dave's does smoke thier own meat, me and my dad talked to the manager one night when they had first come to town and he showed us the huge smokers they have in the kitchen. They have good food I think but I'd rather have home made...

Lyons - I love it. The have roasted red potatoes that are amazing with a prime rib. They also have one of the best mojitos in town IMO and they have a very nice heated outdoor patio that is enclosed. Very similar to Lazlos but a little nicer... You should definitely give it a shot.

It's not downtown but Fireworks is an amazing restaurant. 84th and Old Cheney. Owned by the same people as Lazlos I believe... All this talk about BBQ is making me miss my old tailgate spot where me and my dad could throw our drum smokers out overnight and have fresh BBQ on gameday... Only thing I dislike about the journal star lot.

Interesting because I just texted my son and said that was as loud as I've heard our stadium. Obviously they put my thread in husker vision and that was the turning point of the night...

Our fans are pathetic... I see multiple kids around me who are no doubt recruits and every one is sitting on thier ass... 35 yards line, 7 rows up. I'm disgusted.

It will pick up light from the lights on the stadium ad probably even the sun, just have to be at the right angle. I have multiple pairs of shoes with this stuff on them in some form, even a couple fully covered, and its pretty sweet. -

This would be my guess as well, that or the whole thing shines... On second look, the upper definitely has the matte kinda finish like 3M material used on running shoes and such, and stripes are a lil did so could be them that shine? -

Just a quick little pixelated image... its on a 3x5ish base 119 "pixels" wide (messed up with the number, you could add a row of light grey at the end to center the Logo up) edit... i might also mess with the space between the e and the r so it doesnt touch... -
Also my girlfriends first Husker game. What a game to have for your first experience.

The Sidetrack Band will be playing at Hour Lounge. They open at 10 am Saturday, and should be playing before and after the game.
