  1. Not to rag on him for arbitrary things, but he's always given himself a thug persona based on his twitter account. The english he uses on there would make his English teachers want to quit their jobs forever. That's pretty meaningless. It seems around 90% of players talk that way on their twitter accounts, and maybe 70% of the total users. Some of the players who talk that way on twitter speak nothing like that in person and don't write badly for their classes either. It does make me cringe a little, but if it's an indicator of someday punching a cop a week before the draft, than I'm scared for most of the players.
  2. No. Fair is fair. (I honestly don't search the internet looking for buff dudes to drool over. I just find it humorous to make the guys on here look at them since I'm forced to look at similar photos of girls)
  3. I'll bite. What the male cheerleaders should wear (but with red gloves):
  4. I have nowhere else to put this. I was looking for Husker cycling gear and this made me laugh. You wrap it around your bike helmet. (imo the N is way too big)
  5. It comes from the article I quoted, but I was joking. I'm not worried about that part.
  6. Sure, he might be leaning toward Ohio State. But it always amuses me when people say with surety "X will be on this team." It's April for crap's sake. Kids change their minds.
  7. Drunk thread is that-a-way *turns this into a feminist thread* But, seriously. Guys talk about boobs and butts about every 5th post on this forum, and I make one comment and I'm "drunk." Sheesh. (For the record, I'm not complaining about those posts). (Btw, I've punched some numbers, and #27 has the best butt. #3 was a possibility but he's too far away to get a good angle)
  8. lol. I almost replied by bolding it too.
  9. He picked a good number and this quote amused me: "Mo's come in and done a good job this spring. His strength is one of his strong points," Joseph said
  10. I've never bought tickets the day of the game. Do I still go to the ticket office across the street west of the stadium?
  11. I've often wondered, is the "it" they are referring to merely the hokey pokey, or to life in general?
  12. haha - it's ironic you post a response like this in a forum discussing UCLA - when 99% of the reason most on this board hate UCLA (and surprisingly there is a large number considering we rarely, if ever come accross them) is because of Neuheisel. The other 1% still are pissed they wasted their time participating in the Owa thread. The two are barely related, imho. We're talking about a team that she loved/loves for several years (I'm assuming) and called/calls herself a fan and she is not going to see HER team because the coach upsets her. UCLA is some random other team that the people on this forum were never fans of in the first place so it doesn't matter whether or not people hate UCLA or why they hate them if they do.
  13. It stands to reason that it will be at least part of the reason we get more physical. Raymond stated outright that they were going to be more technical because the Big 10 referees weren't as leniant about physical play as Big 12 referees. Therefore they obviously got less coaching on physicality and there's nowhere to go but up.
  14. Points taken That is easily the most idiotic reason I've ever heard of for not going to a game. (On her part, not yours). A team isn't about one individual person, even if it is the head coach.
  15. That's why I wouldn't be safe. If they don't know there's a Husker game they'll just assume I'm in the gang. (Alright, highly unlikely, but it was supposed to be humerous). There was an article posted here awhile back about a gang in L.A. that wears Husker shirts. "A Mexican street gang in California, The Norteños, is embracing Nebraska Cornhuskers’ gear. Unfortunately, it’s not because they they have fond memories of Tommy Frazier from their childhood." I might not end up doing it, but I google earthed the whole route and all of the streets were either 30mph speed limits (or less), or there were very few pedestrians on the sidewalks. But maybe I should wear football pads just in case.
  16. a) Is anyone here thinking about going? b) This one is more general but I only care for the UCLA game. When do we usually find out what time the games are? I have a friend who lives in Hollywood and it's a 14 mile bike ride from her place, so I'm hoping the game starts before 5pm. I found a route that is on streets that all have speed limits under 35. So if you guys hear about that gang that wears Husker gear pulling a woman off her bike and stabbing her to death in the face, you'll know it was me. (Or I suppose it would be their rival who would be doing the stabbing)
  17. I think the op meant favorite game this season.. Sat, Sep 08 UCLA at Pasadena, Calif.
  18. could hook it up to one of the bike racks too. They're in front of every building
