The fumble at ISU tool away one of our biggest threats, "Niles on a kick/punt return". While he has made some nice catches his presence lately hasn't been "game changing". Hope the passing game leans on McNeil, Reed and Kinnie trying to make "possession type" catches instead of every play is home run or strike out. Hell maybe fire up a few screen plays to Burkehead or Helu Jr. GBR!!!

Maybe the offense would be a little more geared to something other than "One Play Drives". That said it would be similar we would just have had to lean more on the defense and play for TOP.

According to Burda later in the article, "...the conference has never reprimanded an athlete for comments made through social media." Maybe I'm alone here but why exactly did AM fans rush out on the field? They beat a one loss Husker team in a poorly officiated game on their home field 9-6. Why is that reason to rush the field for the first time in 35 years? It's not a rivalry game. It didn't win them any titles. It didn't accomplish anything other than get them a win on their way to the "we suck less than most" Bowl game. Can anyone explain this to me?

They didn't want/let him run in the first half. That was very, very clear/obvious. When he was allowed to take off he rushed for ~70yds in one half. That could have been ~140yd for the day. People are overlooking that fact. I firmly believe it was never in the playbook to score 50 against KU. Just wouldn't have been right thing to do to Turner.

Texas AM changed QB and won a few games against some teams with POOR pass defense. This kid QB Tannehill has NEVER seen a secondary like he will go up against Sat night. If I've learned one thing it's you better like your chances with a Pelini coached team in November with something on the line. The opposing QB graveyard population is about to increase by one. If I were an A&M fan I'd be feeling really, really uncomfortable with the Big Red coming to town. Likewise if you're a A&M coach how can you possible prepared for everything NU can throw at you on offense? TMart, Helu Jr, Burkehead, wideopen passing attack, smash mouth run game. We've shown it all this year and I'd be scared to death if I were an opposing coach trying to guess what I'll face on Sat night. Have a some faith, let the bombs blow and the dominoes fall Sat night. Hope its OU. Seems fitting for NU and OU to play for title while TX sucks their thumbs. Perfect ending to the BIG XII if you ask me.
