I concur. My cousin is a Case-worker and she tells me all the horror stories. Even tried to get me to adopt a couple to get them out of the situation that they are in.

You have no clue what Bo has said to the recruits about the coaching staff. So to make a statement that says this goes against Bo's integrity is completely off base unless your definitely in the know. I have read an article where Bubba was even asked "would he still commit if Watson was gone?". His response was "I am sure that NU would bring a coach that would put me in the right direction". (something to that effect, can't remember the exact). Bo was straight forward in saying: So lets not try to get all high and mighty about the way Bo is doing things. We received excellent players this day and I am sure that Bo did it the right way or he knows that later on he would regret it if those players didn't make the starting cut.

You have three options here: 1. Dump her now! 2. Tell her that during the husker games that you WILL be watching them and explain to her what that actually means and what days/months this pertains to. And that by no means will you stray off of this. Tell her that day is hers to go with her g/f's. But by no means can she ever plan anything on these days with you unless it is after the game (not before, because she will swindle the occasion to run over the starting time). 3. Dump her the 1st day of the game because she tried to plan something on that day and to test your manliness. I am heavy into Sportbikes. Had a gf at the time (after 5 months) tell me it was either her or the bike. I pointed and told her there was the door. She asked "What?". Again, I said there is the door. She responded by saying she was only joking. I told her that I wasn't and pointed again. I will never be pressured to give up what I love doing to keep me sane. There will always be a woman out there that has the same principals and won't make you sell your soul because she thinks she is the only thing that you need. Both men and women need an "out" to take a break from each other every once in awhile or your relationship will go down quick. If she doesn't understand the football thing and tries to get you away from it, then it is best to get out of it now. I live in Oklahoma City and my current gf knows that I have season tickets to the Huskers and I will be attending it every home game (meaning that that weekend is nearly shot being with her because my dad and I go to the games and the travel time just sucks back and forth). She is okay with that and understands with no issues. I think this one might even be a keeper. Will update ya next year about this.

If you use FB and use all those stupid little games they produce, then you are allowing them to do a lot with your personal info. You are giving them all your contacts and so forth (which you agree to when doing it). Also, there are more scams with FB that I am sure your not aware of. A guy was caught breaking into emails and was able to do it with info from ppls fb accounts. Watch what you click on and what you want the public to know. All they need to know are small hints of your life to get what they need from you.

The hot sauce is not child abuse at all. If she was making him down the whole bottle at once, then I would agree, but just alittle isn't all that bad. Will have to disagree with you on this one. I have personally seen kids that got the full attention and became the outlaw when they became a teenager. I think we as a society have become to easy now days. I just retired from the Navy and 4 years before I did, I was being told I can't even yell at the new recruits when they do something wrong because it will just shut them down (I was joking to an E-4 (2 less then 2 yrs into the navy) about his abilities and he couldn't even work for about 2 hours after it and nearly cried. That's not how life works. You screw up, you pay for it. One shouldn't have to treat an adult as a kid to get them to do things and that is what is happening today because parents are wanting to be their kid's best friend and not a parent. I cannot remember the quote, but the father on Boiler Room said it nicely about being a parent and not his best friend.

Then again once you start witholding information you have started down a very slippery slide. T_O_B They always withhold information. I am sure this was: "hey we are saving money and this is how" type of deal. Now if they had done this after a season of people already swimming in it, I am sure ppl wouldn't have complained as much.

Just figured out that I am addicted. to what you say? Well it goes like this: Today I was putting my car in the shop for some maintenance, so I had to clean out the car. After cleaning I saw that I had put 7 different Husker hats in a pile. When I put them inside the house, counted another 5. My roommate drove my car while I drove my truck. You guessed it, another Husker hat. 13 hats that I am aware of at the moment. I am sure to find more in other places.
