Why not give the players an option. Free scholarship or they can pay there way threw college without rules against endorsements, etc?

Who cares what Watson says, its all coach speak anyway. It might be coach-speak, it might not be. But people just use what the coaches say when it backs up their own argument, and anytime it contradicts their point of view, they disregard it as coach-speak. It's reality shopping. Besides, linking that article to prove that other people noticed Taylor's sideline demeanor doesn't mean anything to me. As far as I can tell, the people driving that train are the people on message boards, which journalists like Sipple and Christopherson read. Threads like this one have the ability to take something as petty as "Well, Taylor doesn't look as excited as I think he should," to the point where they'll ask the coaches about it, if for no other reason than that it's a topic that their lowest common denominator readers would be interested in because it's dramatic and gossipy. So whats your point???? My point is can we please stop with the bulls%$t topics like Taylor's sideline demeanor. It ranks right up there along with, "Shouldn't Bo be nicer?" or, "What did Lindsey Lohan do this weekend?" This thread shouldve been locked about 4 pages ago. We got pissing match after pissing match going on this thread, very few posts actually relate to the topic at hand. I tried to stay on topic but its hard when the whole thread smells like urine. The only reason this thread isnt locked is because zoogies is defending his boyhood hero Watson. What did Lindsay Lohn do this weekend? Im guessing the entire Boise State team as crappy as their playing.

Adidas fan aparral sucks. Adidas isn't the tradition, traditional, practical uniform designs are. Most people seem to be under the impression that Nike and that tradition are antonyms of one another. I like to argue that change is the tradition. I think its time to make changes to the uniforms. New conference, new start, new uniforms, same husker spirit. I am bored with the same old husker uniforms. I'm sure I'll get some negative responses for this post. But change always comes with time. We look too much like Wisconsin. Cornhuskers are a brand name. Not a generic team. As long as that N stays the same on the side of the helmets. I think change is needed.

Yes. For all the talk of it not being geographical, throw up a map of the states (as miami did in a previous thread) and it's pretty strikingly not randomly distributed across the map. Ah, here's a map, from HI. Non geographic split? C'mon, Big Ten guys...did you even look at the map first?! With the map I could sure see a North/South split, but That would put us in the North Division again and I am definitely not for that. It didn't work the first time and I don't want to take any chances. West/east?

I really don't think the injuries will be the factor. I think his confidence will. After the Oklahoma game he might try to second guess him self too much. But its Washington so maybe I'm just talking out of my a$$. Oh and my exact estimation is that his ankle is 92.6 and a half % and his turf toe is 88.9% maybe 91.4%...................

I'm throwing a wild guess um 90% depending on the turf toe. Which I hear could take awhile to heal. Plus that ankle is gunna be weak and prone to rolling for awhile. But if he is following threw physical therapy. I think he could be very close to 100% come game time.

This reminds me of an article that I read. It's was about MJ's son Marcus Jordan. When he started at UCF they told him he could wear Jordan Nikes. Well adidas got pissed off and ended there multi million dollar contract with UCF. But it didn't take long for Nike to come in and save the day. I do believe they change there uniforms. Probably because they wanted to. To me it makes no difference. Am I the only one who likes Oregans Uniforms. I think they look bad a$$. Nebraska should keep the classic way though. You don't NEED a spitter, I've chewed for years and to be more descret about it I swallow the juices. It is what us in the chew biz call "gutting it" I also don't think Bo chews but wouldn't be surpirsed if he did. Yea I dip my self. But out of all the ppl I know who chew (which is alot, I'm in the army) only one I met gutted it. Because he was teaching a class. He looked like he was gunna lose his lunch everytime. From what I can tell he chews a butt load of GUM. If he does Dip NU probably has a policy that say he cant do it in public interviews and games. It's like when coaches use to smoke on the side lines. Also when you dip you need a spitter while indoors. Inless he uses SNUS or Bandits which you can gut that stuff and its hard to spot also.

Yea I heard salt water aquarium guy got into it with Palini after the Oklahoma game. Some speculations say its about aquarium guy's wife wanted him to be paid more for his services. This is also the first season since 07 I actually got to watch 90% of the games. Between basic, deployment, and training I haven't got to watch.much husker games. Also I use to think there wasn't much to do in NE. Then I got station in fairbanks Alaska. It's like -30 outside. Lincoln is like Vegas to me now. I have alittle football fever right now. Too bad I'll miss next season due to another deployment. But I have seen people freaking out way to much this season over losing. Me personally After the Texas game it kinda numb me up to the other losses. I work with some Texas Fans man they are cocky about there team (not really this season though hahahah) I also seen a lot of people throwing wild rumors at our players. When did we become the Longhorns. I have Faith that we will get a shot at a national championship within the next 5 years. We are only getting better each year, after the CALLIHAN era.
