Why would Ferentz get offered the Chiefs job? Are there some ties there that I'm not aware of or something? Has anyone heard any news on the 3 RS Frosh DE's? I just assume since I haven't heard anything, they've been less than impressive. If that's true, and since we took no high school d-ends last year, I wouldn't be surprised if we took 3 with the possibility of mcmullen moving inside if he gets bigger.

So because he's not Braylon Heard he can't qualify and should just go the JuCO route instead of exhausting all possible paths to NU? What I don't understand is why more of these guys don't just go to a prep school for a year if they don't make it in the fall the first year. If I remember correctly Noel Devine did this. And it's better to do that because you don't lose years of eligibility if I remember correctr right? That seems like a better option than JUCO. Is prep school generally for those not even close to qualifying? If I remember correctly, I thought CJ didn't qualify because of one class not counting. If that's true, wouldn't you take a 6 week course AND retake the test just to make sure you qualify ASAP?

Interesting. Where does this put Moss? No offense to Moss, but Polo is better. For what Bo likes to do on defense, collapse the pocket, Polo appears better suited for the task. Good enough for me and if it gives us an edge for Nance, I'm all for it. You would think getting moss would only increase the likeliness of Peat committing. So, if you had to choose, Peat/Moss or Nance/Polo?

Oregon has 1 rb, 1 wr and 1 athlete that may be a wr. I don't know the scholarship situation for oregon but I would imagine there's room for DJ. Also, im pretty sure DJ is being recruited to play on the offensive side of the ball. I would imagine wr for nebraska.

Im guessing he wants a fullback that can actually block. No offense to legate, but it seems like there were quite a few times where he couldnt make the block or find who to block. I still think part of the reason why burkhead played fb this year, other than for the dive, was because he w as our best fb on the team. Morrow will be a junior next year so im guessing this guy would be his replacement.

FWIW, Nebraska is ranked 9th in the country in terms of average stars on rivals. Quality over quantity.

It'll be interesting to see if NU implements the same defense it used against Virgina Tech a couple of years ago. Not sure that we have the same DB talent to cover for 5-7 seconds like we were able to then, but denard's feet scare me. If he doesn't beat us with his feet, I wouldn't be surprised to see NU win by a couple of touchdowns.

I actually enjoyed the sarcasm. If something like that sets you off, you've gotta be a joy to hang around.
