  1. I would guess that most of the HB members pay little to nothing in income tax every year, because most Americans don't.
  2. He's worth $239 billion because he built something. It wasn't by chance, or luck. The starving and the homeless are far from the responsibility of a man who is already going to give more to the human race than he'll ever take. The "you can't be rich if there's poor people" argument is a joke. I was pretty clear that I didn't feel sorry for Musk, so clearly I don't see him as a victim. I only find it laughable that people, most of which probably pay almost nothing in income tax, are being critical of someone who is writing a $11 billion check to government. And subsidies aren't exclusive to Elon Musk. There are plenty of us hard working Americans that benefit from government subsidies, contracts, and programs. Again. I don't feel sorry for him. I just find the criticism of him to be quite funny.
  3. The government's incredibly irresponsible spending over decades is the problem. Not Elon Musk. $11 billion is ridiculous, and I'd be fine if he never paid another penny. Also, there's a massive difference between being worth $200 billion + and HAVING $200 billion +.... I don't feel sorry for Elon. He'll be fine. But any criticism, or cries of unfairness when it comes to taxes paid are hilarious.
  4. As he has stated multiple times, most of his money isn't exactly liquid. Nobody should be handing over $11 billion in a single year to s fiscally irresponsible government. It's absurd.
  5. And some think he should pay more. Laughable.
  6. Some very odd behavior out of a lot of the GOP leadership. I can certainly understand being against a vaccine mandate, but to be THAT against the vaccine itself is very odd.
  7. The dorks at the White House aren't in the Christmas spirit.
  8. That might be dedumbest name I've ever heard, but welcome to Nebraska kid!
  9. There are a lot more hourly worker/day laborer folks in the world than there are aerospace engineers or brain surgeons. I've got a hunch that I'm hanging with the group that resides closer to the mean.
  10. Your definition of average intelligence is probably much different than most people's when considering the kind of individuals you're around on a day to day basis. The people I employ? Half of them have trouble getting a tree in the ground properly, or keeping a wheelbarrow upright. I doubt some of them would be qualified to get your coffee in the morning. Congratulations on a cool career, though!
  11. Luckily, masks are optional at my children's schools. Out in in rural America, where there's still some common sense.
  12. As has been mentioned, if the OC was involved in a game over the weekend, it all makes sense. If you don't see anything out of them by Tuesday evening, it's probably time to wonder what's going on.
  13. What would make it a homerun hire? I'm genuinely asking, because I have never heard of him. Utah looks to have been 45th in total offense, for those curious.
  14. Probably so, but I'd still be fairly excited for the hire. I like Coast Carolina's offense.
  15. It makes sense if your OC was coaching last night.
  16. I'd be surprised if there isn't some kind of news by Monday.
  17. I like it. A late option pitch leads to the I-back hitting the fullback up the seam for a 75 yd TD pass.
