  1. That's according to a quote from Lewis on 247 back when they talked to him after either Tristan or Keyshawn committed. I think if you go to his profile and scroll down some it is still there.
  2. Don't forget Lewis was on POB's 7v7 team so we also have that going for us. He has even said that will be a factor.
  3. This still frustrates me to this day. No offense to Jack, but what in the world are you thinking taking McVeigh over Akoy here. Even at that time, you were in dire needs of a big, and you basically had one fall in your lap (Akoy) and you decided another 6'7" wing would be a better get. I'm sorry, but I will never agree with Miles on this one.
  4. I know him personally, but haven't got a chance to talk to him in awhile. In all honesty, this wouldn't surprise me one bit if he came back for one season. He's been hearing what a lot of people have been saying that he was a bust and never should have gone to that level of program in the first place. All of the criticism is understandable, but I'm sure he would love to come back and be an integral part in taking this program to the next level. However, I also wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if he doesn't see the value in coming back for one year and potentially being a part of a team that consistently is near the bottom of the B1G. I really hope he does come back, because I know he would be an immediate asset to the team. I just don't know if it would really be worth it for him.

James Palmer, wing transfer from the U, picks Nebrasketball.

  5. In his most recent interview didn't he say he wanted to commit this summer? Obviously it won't be over if that happens but it would at least tell us who is leading at the time.
  6. One reason a person in his situation may not take an OV to a place he has been to so many times is because I believe the schools only have so many slots to offer for OVs. I don't know if anyone has ever reached a limit like that but I do believe there is something like that in place. He would almost be doing them a disservice if he used up one of their allowed OV slots. Someone correct me if I'm wrong on that rule though.A disservice? Lol. A five star with interest is never a bad thingThat's why I said almost. Of course they aren't going to tell him not to come so they can get someone else to. But he might think "hey, ive already been there a hundred times, maybe I'll let them use the OV on another 5 star guy from Florida since he can't pay to get there like I can." Sometimes, not everything is as it seems on the surface, you have to actually apply a little critical thinking. My critical thinking says they allow both 5 stars to come. Problem solved. My whole point was he may personally decide to not make his visit an Official one. Of course he will go, and probly a few more times. That doesn't mean it has to be paid for by the school though. Yes, the coaches want him there no matter what. He may decide how he gets there though.

  10. Two four star commits is arguably our best WR class of all-time? That's pretty sadNot necessarily. And in his defense, he did say arguably.
  11. Got some love on a recent Rivals interview from him. Said he will for sure take an OV here. Talks to Tristan quite a bit and says his 7v7 coach is really good friends with Coach Williams.
  12. I believe he tweeted that he is taking his OV here for the Oregon game. It has since been removed though so I'm not 100% sure. Anyone see it before it was deleted? Sam Mckewon tweeted that Tyjon set his date and then Mike Schaefer said that Sept 17 is quickly becoming a very important day. So I'm just putting pieces together.
  13. If anyone is looking for a quick giggle, go to Tyjon's Twitter page and read his bio. I thought it was pretty funny anyways.
  14. He was 4th team with POB and behind a couple walk ons that saw reps much earlier on.How'd he look? Well, I guess if he's b/u to walk-ons, that pretty much tells the story. The feed cut right as he got in. I too drew the same conclusion, though based on who played before him. Did Ozigbo get some reps? Sounds like Newby and Wilbon stole the show.He appears to be the most complete running back of the 3. I felt he earned the starting job for his performance in the UCLA game. Ground and pound, baby. Yeah....we all know this....but do the people calling the plays? Seems like they figured it out during the UCLA game. However, I suspect Wilbon will have more to say on the matter. Tell me there weren't moments toward the end of the UCLA game where you were yelling at the field/TV (don't know if you were there or not) "What the hell are you thinking?" It's like this coaching staff seems determined to snatch defeat from the claws of victory. Yes they seemed to have finally figured out that with a couple of 240 lb stud running backs running against one of the worst running defenses (perhaps because they were also very small) maybe....just maybe....pounding the rock might be the way to go. But then, there we all were, late in the 4th quarter, holding our collective breath as we saw the play calling seem to go south again. So, I still wonder if the people calling the plays can figure out the fact that Tommie should not be passing 40-50 times a game and the Huskers should be pounding the rock. Riley seems determined to be a .500 coach and he seems determined to find any way possible to do it. I still don't understand why people are saying that UCLA's d-line was small. I don't remember them being small at all. Someone correct me or refresh my memory please? I know Kenny Clark was a pretty large human being, but I don't remember who else was playing beside him. I thought it was more of a numbers issue for them, not their individual size.
  15. Go to 1:16:00 ish area of the Spring game video and watch Mo Barry #18 on that play. Does a great job of getting skinny on contact to avoid the block and explodes into the tackle. The quickness and explosiveness this guy has is off the charts. Huge upside potential there and we all better hope Bray can maximize this guys potential. Really looking forward to this guy stepping up in the future.
  16. You're allowed to take unofficial visits at any time because the family is responsible to pay for all expenses involved with the trip. The university can't help with any costs that are included in an unofficial visit. However, as of right now, recruits aren't allowed to take an official visit until the fall semester of their senior year begins. This is being looked into heavily though by the NCAA and with the satellite camps being banned, I would bet that soon they will allow recruits to take official visits starting the spring semester of their Junior years.
  17. Here's a pretty good hype video. One I know recruits would like as well due to the song that was used.
  18. I'm guessing Lamar Jackson didn't make it this weekend?
