  1. Agreed. Winner gets a custom made banner for their signature until the following season as well.
  2. Got it. Signed up. Now to find a way to not get last.
  3. Tried to join the league from the link above and it wouldn't let me. Said I'm not a league member.
  4. Believe it's the first one since like 02-03. I think it was Wes Wilkinson and then Jason Dorriseau (not sure on the spelling). Thats quite a long drought for not having an in-state kid.
  5. I would be interested. Preferably on ESPN but Yahoo works as well. Im thinking Mike Riley signed traveling corn cob hat for the winner.
  6. I feel like 16 is the magic number for the playoff. Give the teams 1 non-conference game a year. Play your 8 or 9 game conference schedule and your conference championship. With 16 teams it takes 4 wins to win a title which would put teams around the 15 game mark if they make the championship. Don't see how this isn't possible.
  7. Don't think anyone on here would be disappointed if we landed this guy. How many WR we looking at taking? It's gotta be 1-2 more at most.
  8. I think you can win at a high level without a completely dominant back. It all starts up front for me. Doesn't matter how good your back is if doesn't have anywhere to run. Once we get back to having a great O-line I think things will sort themselves out elsewhere. Riley has said multiple times he wants to be a good run team but that's hard to do with mediocre line play.
  9. Very similar situation to what Tyjon went through last year. Tyjon's injury wasn't quite as severe though. Assuming with his talent level that most schools will still honor their offer but there could be a few that back off. Feel bad for the kid and hopefully he recovers fully and can get back to 100%. He's a game changer for whatever school he goes to.
  10. Guess it comes down to how bad he wants to go to college right away. I would assume he redshirts in Lincoln and Creighton wants him to spend a year in a prep school. Either way the first season after his senior year of high school will be used as a developmental year.
  11. Was Babb the one wearing the NU shirt at the end? Glad Brown is back in the fold with us but if he can help us land Babb that would be huge.
  12. Not sure I would classify that as a problem. That Jumpman symbol is going to help them in recruiting. And you can't tell me the kids at UNC aren't going to get things that Michigan won't. Jordan always goes above and beyond for UNC. Alt. uniforms are welcome among today's recruits and there's data/research to support this claim, but I don't how about the bolded. It's a symbol on a practice helmet and won't be allowed in any games. Is this really going to matter much? This just seems more like a little added benefit, but I struggle to see it being something that registers significantly with most recruits. Maybe I'm off base. I didn't mean to imply that the Jumpman on the helmet would help them. Just the Jordan brand in general will help them out.
  13. I don't think it'll be the sole reason if we beat them this year. There were many throws last year that TA just kinda lobbed up there for anyone to come down with. Never really established a consistent run game in Madison last year either. Hopefully a more accurate passer (assuming Lee is that), another year of experience on the O-line and the switch to the 3-4 can lead us to victory this year and in the years to come.

  15. A redshirt year will help this kid tremendously. Very raw skill set but moves well for being 6'10. Needs a year to get stronger and get used to the higher level basketball.
  16. I would say a number around 200 ypg on the ground, no matter who it is, will help us be successful this year. For reference last year we averaged 169 ypg and 4.2 ypc. Now this year it will be tougher as it will be more reliant on the RB and not zone read and designed QB run game. But if we can get to the 200 number and be around 4.5-5.0 ypc I think our offense will be pretty tough to stop this year. And to answer the OP question I would much rather be around the 5.0 ypc mark.
  17. Going off last year, it is hard to say with the B1G west, we took it on the chin from head to head from Tennessee and Florida. Except Wisconsin would be compared to Florida. Head to Head by division standings would be as following: Wisconsin vs. Florida Iowa vs. Tennessee Nebraska vs. Georgia Minnesota vs. Kentucky Northwestern vs. South Carolina Illinois vs. Vanderbilt Purdue vs. Missouri Looking at those matchups, I think the only game I'm confident in saying the BIG West would win would be the Wiscy game. Now I don't know much about the SEC East but just going off program reputation its hard to see the BIG winning any of those other games.
  18. I think the only way he truly shocks the world is if he commits to NU. Other than that I wouldn't be too surprised with any of them.
  19. Tweeted and said he's going to shock the world with his commitment. Any chance here?
  20. This a million times. He had a good year overall in 2016, but he has games where he really struggles to hit anyone at all. Thorson would only be above average on my list due to two years of experience and closing the year out on a higher note. He has a lot to prove when not throwing to someone named Carr. Totally agree. Lee hasn't played a down for us yet but from everything I've read it wouldn't surprise me one bit if his stats at the end of the year blow Thorson's out of the water.
  21. The fact that he ranks NW as the top QB situation in the conference is all you need to know.
  22. Nebraska does a really good job of this with their academic report staff. You hear recruit after recruit refer to this when asked what impressed them most. Now I have no idea if its in the same building as the rest of the football stuff but Nebraska does go above and beyond on the academic side of things.
  23. Agree with pretty much everything here. The deciding factor for me on 2015vs2013 was the helmets. The 2015 helmets were the second best alternate helmet we've had behind the 09 ones.
  24. Can we just keep these 3 options for our home jerseys? No need to even have anything else.
  25. Anyone else find it odd that Bookie is a known Nebraska commit and only one person mentioned him coming to Nebraska?Read it the other way Helps if I actually read the graph
