Foppa
I've heard this quite a bit now...damn...we need EVERYONE healthy for this game. Quote Link to comment
KansasHusker
You are not supposed to hear about Offensive lineman. They do their job so other people on the team get talked about. Not hearing a lot about Mann is a good thing. Very true. Good point. Quote Link to comment
gamecocks
Mono sucks. I had it two years ago and had no energy for like a month. I would do some activity that took only an hour and I would have to sit down and maybe take a nap. All I wanted to do was sleep. Hopefully he doesn't have Mono and will be able to play. DJR313
But USC is different than Nichols. Yes, it is, but it got his feet wet. He needs to step it up this week. Hopefully he is ready to. Quote Link to comment
FriscoTXHusker
Rivals is reporting that BC announced Mann will not play against USC. Quote Link to comment
zoogs
That really blows. Mann is the bastion of our o-line. Let's hope we can keep all the cogs running and Zac on his feet without him. Quote Link to comment
BIGREDIOWAN
Dammit!!!! Quote Link to comment
HuskerfaninOkieland
Taken from another board, here's a list of USC's injuries to date: USC: OC Kalil (questionable due to concussion, will likely play) backup OC/OG Byers (likely out with back cyst) LB Kua (questionable with hammie, will likely play some, but most snaps will go to Rey Maualuga) CB Thomas (questionable with high ankle sprain, likely wont play) RB Washington (questionable with hammie) FS Pinkard (out with ACL tear) NT Ellis (out 2-3 weeks due to meniscus tear) S Ellison (hyperextended knee, will likely play) backup NT Tofi (out, I dont remember why) Quote Link to comment
HUSKERJIMMY
Word is Mann will be out of the game because he has mono. Messin with too many girls gone wild coeds will give you Mono Quote Link to comment
Hunter94
you know, absent Mann's "non-contact" illness....lol....seriously is it me or does it seem like there really are more injuries in college football now? look at Adrian peterson from OU last year, never was right for most of the year due to injury and all the bad luck injuries the Huskers have experienced......i just think there is more hard hitting in practices and spring and fall ball and more competition than ever, driving guys harder and making for more opportunities for injury.....Carriker is another example from year before last....it seems epidemic hunter Quote Link to comment
