ForeverRed
It is being reported on a Des Moines radio show that Norvell is going to be the new coach at ISU.This radio host supposedly has some inside ISU info. What are your thoughts? Quote Link to comment
Drowning_in_the_Sea_of_Red
Well if he is, then I hope he can handle losing to NU EVERY YEAR!!!! Quote Link to comment
Always a husker
Who is going to take over at oc? Quote Link to comment

strigori
Watson's the new OC, bring in McCarthy Am I missing something? Who is McCarthy? Quote Link to comment
mjmartin1970
With all of his Iowa ties, this would not suprise me a bit. However, I have a couple of questions.... 1. What do we do the rest of the year? I mean I don't want to lose him this year as OC, but I also don't want him to have to do "double duty" - i.e. recruiting for ISU, coaching for NU. And, I would expect that he would be recruiting hard and not want to wait until after our bowl game to get started. Would leave him a little over a month to recruit. 2. I think Watson is obviously OC, but who is QB's coach? What is Rich Gannon up to lately? Quote Link to comment
mahoney
Rich Gannon was the analyst on yesterday's Oakland/KC game. I don't know if that makes him available or not. Quote Link to comment
HuskerJosh82
Damn! A good ole Quote Link to comment
tattooedhusker
if it's true, more power to him and good luck, cuz he'll need it not wearing the right red. Quote Link to comment
huskerdude171
I don't think it really matters. He is responsible for our 3rd quarter slumps where the offense has managed to rack up 7 points in Big 12 play in the 3rd quarter. He says "that we don't need to make adjustments" so the hell with him. College football is all about adjustments. I just hope the new OC can make adjustments and prevent 3rd quarter slumps. Always a husker
Ya I dont think a new offensive coordinator would be bad. We need a change in our second half play. Quote Link to comment
Pedro Guerrero
If this ends up being true then Watson will take over the "OC" spot. Also if it is true good for him and good luck. Will see how it turns out in the end though. Quote Link to comment
melscott62
I have a feeling watson is going to do a better job(not that jay did bad) Quote Link to comment
rawhide
The puffs think Watson sucked. Course you look at the base on which sCum is built and there ya go. If memory serves correct he was the oc when they kicked us 62-36 so he can't be all bad. Quote Link to comment
