Nebraska I-back Marlon Lucky quickly began to collect honors for his career performance in Nebraska’s 52-10 win over Nevada on Sept. 1, by being selected as the Walter Camp Football Foundation National Offensive Player of the Week on Sunday. The award recognizes the most outstanding offensive and defensive performances of the week as selected by a panel of national media members and administered by the Walter Camp Football Foundation. Lucky was awarded the recognition following a landmark afternoon this past Saturday, when he pounded out a career-best 233 rushing yards on 30 carries for the Huskers and scored four total touchdowns. The North Hollywood, Calif., native’s 266 all-purpose yards led the way for 625 total yards of offense by Nebraska, the most under Head Coach Bill Callahan. Lucky returns to the backfield for the Huskers next weekend, as Nebraska heads to its first road contest of the season at Wake Forest on Saturday, Sept. 8 at 11 a.m. The game will be broadcast live on ESPN. OmahaPlaya
Seems some of the posters on the USAToday page are hating cause a Nebraska player is getting lots of votes. Quote Link to comment
Foppa
Seems some of the posters on the USAToday page are hating cause a Nebraska player is getting lots of votes. And how surprising is that? No one, outside of Nebraska or the Big 12, has any respect for us. Quote Link to comment
