NUFAN
I just read on the Husker Extra Blog: http://www.journalstar.com/blog/huskers.ph...p;pb=1#comments that as of 6:25 pm CST that HCBC and DCKC turned in their resignations to TOM and he accepted. Going to be a press conference tomorrow. has anyone else heard this? Most likely it is just another rumor. Quote Link to comment

CENTEXHUSKER
Who is the Colonel? (in the link) Quote Link to comment
zoogs
I wouldn't. We're so close to the end of the season. If they're going to leave, leave at the end of the season. I know most of you have given up on the season...but our players haven't. It would just crush this team for the coaches to just walk out with two games left to play, IMO. We've weathered a lot this year...and I don't think that's something the team can handle. Quote Link to comment
melscott62
its all nonsense. he said he wouldn't resign, and TO said he wouldn't fire him. end of the story. I don't think either man is the lying type. Quote Link to comment

Husker Homer
its all nonsense. he said he wouldn't resign, and TO said he wouldn't fire him. end of the story. I don't think either man is the lying type. I don't think that it is lying, if it were to happen. Situations change, 25 years ago I said I'd never get married...... but the situation changed. TO can say what he believes at the time, but as interm AD he also has a responsibility to the University to protect it from damage and long term harm. I would like to believe that TO is a smart businessman, and crafty executive. He needs to correct this train wreck as quickly as possible.....plus why not get a jump on the other schools that will have openings, a competetive advantage in the head coach search. That said, I think Callahan is full of it up to his ears and could lie his way into or out of anything. He is just very good at it and thinks he's so smart. Other than that I think he is doing an excellent job in all areas. Quote Link to comment
REDSTEEL
Who is the Colonel? (in the link) Think his last name is Klink as a Colonel in the German army and running Stalag 13 little is know about his affiliation of Nebraska football. We suspect that Sergeant Schultz has been running the defense the last four years. When asked the DC was heard repeating "I hear nothing, I see nothing, I know nothing!" over and over. HuskerPharaoh
I think if there were any truth to the resignations, some reporter would have picked up on it already and we would be reading about it on ESPN. Quote Link to comment
HuskerfaninOkieland
And wouldn't Callahan lose out on any money owed him if he resigns? Quote Link to comment
teleman77
I have my doubts, but I hope this is true. Quote Link to comment
