I heard this on 1620. I'm thinking its going to be Gill. Pelini wouldn't be setting up stuff this early, with the SEC championship and bowl game.

 

As much as I like Pelini, if he shows up in Lincoln today, then I don't want him. Any coach that would pick up and leave the week of the SEC Championship game is not for us. I have no problem if he leaves before the bowl game, that's done all the time. But to drop his team just days before their championship game just shouldn't be done.

 

I know a lot of people will say who cares. But the point is, if he does it to them, he can just as easily do it to us someday when someone offers more money.

IMHO, that's just stupid. There's a huge difference between leaving for more money, and leaving a coordinator's position to take the head coaching position at a traditional national power.

supposedly our new coach tomorrow at 4 pm. Im positive about the meeting. Not positive about the new coach but why else would there be such a quick meeting called with the players??

Why would you exclude the seniors? They are already on campus, why would you not ask them to come in and meet the new coach? No need to make them feel like they're being pushed out the door.
