REDSTEEL
Well if all this is true about Pellini being hired this weekend or Monday, how long does it take him to get a staff together? He'll most likely will need to tell recruits what kind of offense he plans to run, in order to get their interest. What OC is out there other then Watson? Quote Link to comment
Washusker
Watson for OC Marvin Sanders for DC I'll be happy. Quote Link to comment
HuskerfaninOkieland
If this is true, then Welcome Coach Pelini As for the staff, I'd say maybe a month if not sooner. I have to think whomever the next head coach is has to have some idea on who they would like on their staff. From there it's just a matter of working out the details if they're available. No....has to be sooner...for recruiting reasons only. Quote Link to comment

Washusker
The staff will be in place within days, not weeks. Don't you think TO understands the importance of keeping and gaining recruits? What's he been doing the last couple of days? Quote Link to comment

toothlessHusker
Callahan for O-line? I think it would be valuable to keep someone around familiar with the Nebraska traditions and what the heck he's already on the payroll. Quote Link to comment

And if he can just win he is set for life. Quote Link to comment
admo
If the reports are true, I really dont know how quick it will be, maybe a week to finalize the entire staff? Even though I'm not high on Pelini, regardless it is an exiting time to be a Husker fan. I'll bet the players and recruits are dieing to know. I'm curious what type of offense will be rolled out.
