DaveH
And thus ends the odds of any NFL team hiring a college coach again. I really don't think so. Anyway, I can't believe Arkansas actually does that pig sooey thing on THE f'ing TV. It's probably the most creepy thing I've ever seen. I completely understand why Altman made a b line to the door after hearing that. Quote Link to comment
OmahaPlaya
Petrino is yet another mercenary who'll work for the highest bidder. I have a very low opinion of the guy to begin after hearing about some of his past antics. Quote Link to comment
KansasHusker
Interesting...I think it will be tough for him to be successful there, as there are several more desirable schools for kids in the SEC. I bet he lasts 3 years and moves somewhere else. I wouldnt blame him for wanting out of Atlanta.. That team is a mess and it doesnt look to get any better anytime soon so for him to come back to the college ranks even for 3 years maybe something better will come along would be a good move... Isn't he making like $3.5-$4 million a year in Atlanta. How is it going to get better than that? If Houston Nutt had reasonable success at Arkansas, I have to imagine Petrino could potentially do very well. I wonder why Michigan didnt try to get him? Yeah no kidding. I'm really shocked that he took the Arkansas job and stepped down from the NFL for it. Why the heck did he even leave Louisville in the first place? because a certain quarterback was supposed to run his system. it's hard for that player to run Petrino's offense when he's in jail for 2 years. That certain Qb sucks at passing anyway. Quote Link to comment

When watching it you just had to think Altman was thinking what the hell did I just do. Not a lot of times in your life do you see 60 year old's doing pig calls and smiling like it's the greatest thing ever. I think if they didn't have the pig call Alman would be there coaching right now. Quote Link to comment
DJR313
This just in, Petrino has successfully leveraged his Arkansas hiring to a higher paying job, an assistant that he has yet to hire will be the interim punching bag. Quote Link to comment

Husker Deb
Petrino had to know what Vick was doing. They are both scum in my book. Hopefully Vick will get some of his own treatment in prison. I can only hope. Quote Link to comment
