Pretty excited.............

Recommended Posts

Great news everyone! My wife's numbers tripled and went up to 21! That's exactly what we needed to have happen. She goes back on Monday for one last test to make sure everything is still going in the right direction. The doctor said that her numbers should be around 40 on Monday since that will be day 13. I had a feeling that they tested her too early considering they normally do the tests on day 13 not day 9, but they thought they would try something new. So it looks like, for now, we are soon to be parents of baby. I'm so excited and when I found out I actually teared up. We're still not out of the woods yet, but we are definately heading in the right direction. :clap

Well I'm on midnights now so I wasn't able to give you all an update until now. My wife went back to the fertility specialist yesterday to have her numbers checked one last time as the doctor is going to watch her very closely. Her numbers tripled again to 78 which puts her above where she is supposed to be which is very good! We scheduled and ultrasound 2 weeks from yesterday to see how things are going. It feels so weird to know I am now on the road to becoming a dad. :clap

Just a quick update, maybe the ladies can help me out here and if this is too much information sorry. My wife is spotting off and on, guys that means bleeding a little bit here and there, and we are confused. She called the doctor and they said that alot of ladies who go through the invitro process have these types of issues. I've read online that alot of ladies actually have this in their normal pregnancies through the first trimester. My wife and I are kinda bummed out because we are worried that the doctors original thoughts are going to come true and she is going to have a miscarriage? We are just trying to stay positive about everything and wait until Monday to see what the ultrasound shows. THIS SUCKS!!!! I'm stressed out to the gills now and no matter what the doctor says I'm nervous as hell and want to get through the first trimester. Any info you ladies out there would have would be helpful.

Hey BRI, My wife and I just had our first child last Feb. 17th. She was spotting early in the pregnancy and my sister, who is prego now, was spotting too. My sister's pregnancy is going good (knock on wood) and my wifes pregnancy went fine too. Hopefully you and your wife have the same results, I have been and will continue to pray for you two and your baby.

Just to add a little, being in the delivery room during the birth is the coolest thing I have ever experienced. I have never respected my wife more after seeing what she had to go through. THANK GOD women are the ones who have to do that!

Good luck and keep us posted!
