LSU Fan Saying Hello

Recommended Posts

LSU fan saying hello. Congratulations to Nebraska on your first win with Bo. We hated to see him leave LSU but get ready. Your defense is going to dominate this division when he gets business taken care of. LSU's defense was key to Bo being there. Your recruiting is going to bring you even more talent on both sides of the ball. I see a great future for Nebraska with Bo. All the best of luck to The Corn Huskers this season.

Hope you are using Wi-Fi. Shouldn't you be hauling @ss somewhere right about now?

No, I'm offshore right now. We are not in the path of the hurricane.

Have a good friend at work who is an LSU fan. He's always good for some gridiron gab. Seems all the tiger fans I meet are pretty respectable and know there college ball. He on the other hans destains the bulldogs and would like to see them get a whoopin layed on them. Good luck in that one, glad to have you on board.

Les Miles is definitely a respectable guy. I know you guys have the right coach, but do give time for the players and new recruits to start gelling as a team. I am sure in the next 2-5 years Nebraska will have the team you guys have been hoping for. It was about 3 years before Saban and Bo turned LSU completely around and we lucked out that we had a huge number of good recruits who wanted to play at LSU. With alittle time and a good coach like you have other players will start to show up at Nebraska. Of course the biggest and most important thing is the fan base. Without a dedicated fanbase win or lose the team will not thrive. That I believe is the main reason for success at LSU. No matter how bad the tigers do the stadium is packed and the parking lot is full of tailgaters. I like the idea of LSU and Nebraska playing a game at each other's fields. That would be fantastic. You never know, possibly Bo has this in the works for the team later in preseason down the road. We will definitely try to contain Georgia this year. The two biggest rivals for us are Georgia and Florida.

For those interested. Here is the LSU football schedule:

Mudbug, I was a Tiger for the first semester my freshman year, which was 3 years ago...so I was there when Katrina came along. Which is a big reason I left for Nebraska.

But I loved Saturday nights in Death Valley, especially tailgating from Friday night until kickoff.

Glad to have you join the board, Tiger fans are some of the best in the country.

Well we made it through Gustav, but took some damage. Here is a site for you guys to link to some photos on campus at LSU. Just look through all the different topics and you will find pictures. Totals could be as high as 40 million right now. Keep in mind many of the students are without power for possibly another week.

Here is an overall map with damage listed where you click on the map.

Georgia, Schmorgia...you guys will hand it to em. Thanks for the kind words, I think nearly everyone in the state bought a purple shirt last year. Glad to hear everyone was able to ride the storm out so well. I read some of the accounts on SEC Blitz.com (great site btw) scary stuff to be sure. Good luck with the rest of your season.
