Today at the end of the spread during the practice report segment, Jeremy Rassmussen? was saying that a couple of recruiting targets were announcing in the next couple of days. Who and what is he talking about? Unless he didn't get the memo that Oku is delaying, great for us even though I think he already committed elsewhere, and that Roh's presser was today, enjoy the weather, who would he be talking about. He also mentioned something to the point of these decisions may be due to the recent visits that some of our assistants made this last week. Anyone else hear this and can anyone indulge into this news if it is true. Gracias.

Bet it's J.T. Kerr. Brandon Kinnie another possibility.

What do you mean by recent visits the assistants made?

San Diego (Calif.) Scripps Ranch tight end recruit J.T. Kerr was on Lincoln a month ago with his father for an unofficial visit, and the pair returned this weekend for his first official visit. What he experienced further solidified Nebraska as the team to beat for his commitment.

With the bye week, assistant coaches have been visiting prospects. Perhaps they sealed the deal with a few guys like Kinnie or Kerr. And their parents.

I'm pretty sure I heard that over the bye week some of the assistants were off on recruting trips. I don't have a link, but it was said during an interview with Pelini on one of the Omaha news stattions.
