Sker4Ever Posted October 21, 2008 Share Posted October 21, 2008 Kind of off subject but how about what's going on in Boulder with Dan Hawkins splitting QB time between his son Cody Hawkins and Freshman Tyler Hansen. Pretty big move to dump Hansen's redshirt not to mention benching his own son. I guess that's the chance you take when you decide to play for your dad. Quote Link to comment

When you coach a team and your son is playing for that team it still is about what's best for the team in the long run. That's a heads-up decision by Coach Hawkins and shows that he's a coach first, father second when it comes to the team. Quote Link to comment
