jayhawk
Was hoping ot have a little tailgate, but is that possible? Bringing a lot of folks in a day trip, but should we plan on tailgating (As in, will we be able to park somewhere we can set up and cook) or is it in Lincoln residential areas or other lots and a bus ride to the game? topekahusker
We normally park west of the Haymarket Area (7th and P Street) and walk to the bars and to the stadium. It not paved and dusty so not ideal for tailgating. I've heard that the paved lots at the baseball/softball complex west of the stadium have a lot of tailgating. Then north of the stadium, over the railroad tracks is residential and many occupents sell spaces and tailgating goes on there. Regardless of what you decide, alcohol is prohibited so any consumption must be in a plastic cup. Hopefully this reactivates your post and others jump in to help. There is a member of this board that sells space north of the stadium so maybe he can help out too. Enjoy your visit to Lincoln! Quote Link to comment

holvy83
how do you get there from I-80 coming from Omaha? Quote Link to comment
Overland Park Husker
how do you get there from I-80 coming from Omaha? I-80 to South I-180. I-180 to East Cornhusker Highway. Turn right on 11th St? ( Not 100% on this one). Stay in the right lane and at the "Y" you'll be forced to the right. Turn left on Line Drive. Haymarket Park is to the left. Quote Link to comment
skersfan
We did out tailgate in the HayMarket parking. Nice place and they keep the rest rooms open during game day. Vehicle parking is 20 bucks, RV's 75 bucks. But it is clean and well lit at night. Quote Link to comment
