teamster
link: http://www.huskerspot.com/notes/What%E2%80...Pitts_Interview Helmet cameras and martial arts for defensive linemen. A number of years ago some NFL team was using ballet dance training for linemen. What's next? Quote Link to comment

AR Husker Fan
A few years back - can't recall whether it was when Bo was there - LSU used martial arts as part of their summer conditioning program. Mental discipline, flexibility, building up core muscles groups (abs, back, etc.), quickness - a good workout, I would think. Quote Link to comment
HuskerTrucker
That was cool...kind of wonder sometimes where these guys end up. It is nice to see it when they do something productive for the community. Quote Link to comment

Touchdown Tommie
My offensive line coach in college had us do martial arts to help with our core strength and balance. It was pretty funny to have the OL kicking around and doing other skills. It did help with our blocking when we got the pads on. Quote Link to comment
