C N Red
Mobile breathalyzers that cops use out on the stop give the cop a good estimation if a person is "drunk" or not. They are not admissable in court. Then there is a non-mobile unit that is a much bigger machine and much more accurate. I am not sure if this one is admissable in court. But blood is the determining factor. I've never heard of anyone getting a DUI without giving blood. Maybe it's happened but I know of nobody that has gotten a DUI and didn't get blood taken. junior4949
I'd estimate that 90+ percent of those given a DUI out here in BFE hick sticks Nebraska never give blood. Yes, the big nonmobile machine at the police station is admissable in court. Quote Link to comment

junior4949
Are they cracking down more than they used to? When Terrell Farley got his first DUI back in the day, it was because he was a moron. The cops took him home the first time and told him to leave his car where they parked it until 8:00 the next morning. This was around 8 or 8:30 at night. Later that night, they pulled him over again around 11:00 and he was still impaired. They gave him a DUI that time. Are they still that leniant, or are they really cracking down in Lincoln?
