knapplc
It was misinformation by the Nebraska Cornhuskers Medical Staff. Bo Pelini was explaining that Nebraska is going to have an explosive D for the Missouri game and one of the nurses thought he meant explosive diarrhea. I think the last time the flu really effected the Nebraska team was The Big XII Championship in 1996 against Texas. From what I heard, Brown Bottle Flu played a role in our loss at Arizona St in 1997. Quote Link to comment

dizzturbedNUfan
I thought it was H1N1...not HINI... Do you think the Huskers have the Hiney flu? Roman Numerals>Real Numbers I guess........... I thought it was a thread started by a Misery fan. It took me off guard when I read that somebody was hitting the whole NU team in the HINI. That's one busy man! Quote Link to comment
jjamuss
Of the several people I know who have received a diagnosis of h1n1 from a doctor, every single person who is any kind of reasonable shape has been over it in a day. Nothing to worry about. Then it wasn't the flu. NO ONE recovers from the flu in 1 day. I work with 2 guys, both diagnosed with it, bot around 30 and in good shape and one missed 5 days of work, the other 4. And they're both still coughing every couple of minutes. 5 days from the flu isnt bad... try 3-4 weeks with mono. as long as our boys dont try to snog any mizzery pigs (female mizzery fans for those who missed my pun) we should be ok!!
