Another JUCO that might pan out like ole Zac Lee!! :thumbs

Remember when we were hating on Callahan for his JUCO recruits?

Turns out they aren't always so bad after all. Let's hope Bo's guys will follow in the footsteps of Mo and Bowman/Murillo.

Bo's group recruited him not BC.

Zac is BC though. I know Dejon is Bo's group. Anyway, the point is JUCOs can be a healthy and necessary part of recruiting.

I think the difference is that Bo and Co don't put as much emphasis on getting them as Callahan did. Callahan sacrificed long term depth for short term gain in a couple of his classes. Getting a couple each year can be good and as you say is an important part of the process to help fill needs you couldn't fill otherwise.

In the past, we've had some great JUCO's. Williams and Farley are the first to come to mind. I don't think we need to go as heavily as KState has done in the past, but they fill some voids. As long as a team is willing to put up with the Thunder Collins type JUCO's, they will find some gems like Williams and Farley. I don't have a problem with some JUCO's.
