Except for the trip and fall that resulted in the long pass play and eventually a TD right before halftime!! I thought overall Amukamara played well though!! As for Gomes, that dude was was everywhere!! It looked like they had him in some type of a rover/hybrid position. Many times he was lined up as a LB and would break off into coverage, but he also had a few great tackles on running plays. He was flying to the ball and a few times I thought I was witnessing the reincarnation of Terrell Farley. Anybody else?? It was great to see guys flying to the ball!! Reminded me of the Blackshirts!! Apathy Posted October 9, 2009 Share Posted October 9, 2009 For playing against a pass heavy offense as well as a hurry up offense I thought that this was the best our DB's have played in YEARS against a good opponent.
