irieboy8
if watson is such a crappy play caller for the offense how will his calling plays for Green be an diffrent than those he called for Lee if the argument is that Watson fundamentally as an OC sucks beyond words.... dont know the answer myself and am wondering...... does watson just call some plays and we just expect Green to run around and make something happen?? the whole 'set him free mentality?' just wondering from reading all the green/watson/lee comments.... i wonder if alabama is praising the lord that watson turned them down.... irafreak
Simple. The offense has an extra running threat in the backfield and can stop relying on it's stone handed recievers. Quote Link to comment
Marf
I trust Green's decisions in the pocket much more then Lee's. Lee won't scramble. He just dances around. Too much of a pro attitude. Look at Joe Ganz. How often was he in the pocket longer then 3 seconds? I'll give you a hint, it starts with "Never". Quote Link to comment
NoDoubt
He was calling the same plays with Ganz. Lee is not a playmaker. Quote Link to comment

strigori
We wont get a chance to see. Watson made a 'perfect' comment about Lee's play today, how 20-37 with 3 picks, and only 4(pretty sure this is right) second half completions is perfect is beyond me. Quote Link to comment
thefuzzyone101
I think what i would hope we'd see differently is some of those QB draw plays that we ran today would actually go for more than 2 yards... supposedly lee and green have the same speed but i think from what i've seen at least green appears to be a better athlete and hopefully he could make more big plays for us than lee Quote Link to comment
