KFAB out of Omaha would be your best bet. In the car, KFAB booms in loud and clear here (well that is until sunset) and on a normal radio, rotate the actual radio to get the best signal. Also, a digital subchannel to the Des Moines ABC affiliate will have the game on TV. The subchannel is available on Mediacom Digital Cable and on over the air, it's channel 5.2. Quote Link to comment

Joe_5700 Posted November 13, 2009 Share Posted November 13, 2009 I have had to go to the inlaws in south central Iowa (Centerville) on game days and could still pick up 1110 KFAB most times. Some car radios have better AM antennas than others. Like another poster said, the direction the AM radio is facing is how you fine tune it in. It has nothing to do with a telescopic antenna.
