JTrain
Obviously they were going mostly just on average. If they had actually watched Henery's punts I'm not sure how they couldn't have given him first team. His coffin corner accuracy is unreal. Quote Link to comment
drewbudd
for reference http://www.big12sports.com/ViewArticle.dbm...TCLID=204842329 I think they may have done that because he was voted second team at PK. Though, personally, I would've rather had him first team P. Quote Link to comment

JTrain
PUNTS INSIDE THE 20: 1. Henery, 26 2. Harry, 21 2. Brandtner, 21 4. Quinn, 20 5. Erxleben, 17 First team punter Epperson had 13 and second-teamer Way had 15. I couldn't find stats for inside the 10 and inside the 5, but I'm sure Henery rivals anyone in the nation with those stats. Quote Link to comment
drewbudd
One is specifically about Suh (don't want that one to get cluttered with stuff about other players), one is KC Star. This is straight from the Big 12. Quote Link to comment
DJR313
You missed highlighting Prince. He was first team as well. Quote Link to comment

So I should start a new thread when this gets posted in the JournalStar, and another for the World Herald, and another for the Norman Transcript, and another for the Austin Statesman, and another for when CNN/SI picks this up, and the AP, and USAToday, and.... ? Come now. Quote Link to comment

But, I suppose if this is deemed a duplicate, it will either get deleted or merged eventually. Quote Link to comment
knapplc
Clearly they weren't watching him play this year. His average is comparable with the top three, but tactically he was superior. His punts were game-changing. Quote Link to comment

The KC Star has their own All-big 12 team different than the one put out by the conference. This will also help explain your confusion about whether Crick is 1st or 2nd team in the other thread. He is first team in the official list from the conference, but 2nd in the KC star's team. Quote Link to comment
JTrain
The Big 12 team is playing with the dreaded 5-3-5 defense. Hopefully it doesn't cost them as dearly as it did Saskatchewan. Quote Link to comment
BigWillie
Alex gets overlooked again. Last year he got beat by Jeff Wolfert, just based off of Wolfert's history. This year he gets overlooked as a kicker and punter. You have to feel for the guy for as much as he does, but the amount of respect he gets by the coaches. Quote Link to comment
