huskersrule95
Great win for the Huskers!!! We were lucky they were missing their all american and had the other roll her ankle, that really changed the momentum of the game. Quote Link to comment
Vince from ShamWOW
My wife and daughter went to the game last night. I got 17 texts from my wife with updates. She was a tad bit on the excited side. Quote Link to comment
knapplc
Wow, I'm dense. I just realized we beat a higher-ranked opponent. It's been so long since we played someone ranked higher than us that it didn't even occur to me. Â With all the teams losing this weekend, including #1 Penn State, #3 Illinois, #4 Florida and #5 Texas, I wonder if Nebraska jumps up this week. I think we'll be ahead of Texas and Illinois, but behind Stanford (obviously), Penn State and most likely Hawaii. Quote Link to comment
Husker Runner
We moved up to #4 behind Stanford, Penn State, and Florida. Penn State still got two #1 votes even after getting swept by Stanford. That's about par for the course with the AVCA poll, LOL. Quote Link to comment
knapplc
That's a pretty good ranking for as shaky as we've looked early on. It's no shame getting beaten by Florida, considering the tear Murphy is on, but we should have won that match. I don't know if we would have beaten Illinois if they hadn't lost DeBruler and Bartsch.
