MUTigerFan
NU has 21 varsity sports. THE Ohio State University has 35. So... as a soon-to-be member of the Big 12, what sports would you like to add? Here's some the OSU has that NU doesn't: Lacrosse (M + W) Fencing (M + W) Hockey (M + W) Pistol (M + W) Rifle (M) Swimming (M) Soccer (M) Volleyball (M) Rowing (W) Syncronized Swimming (W) My choices would be Soccer for men, Lacrosse for both, Volleyball for men Quote Link to comment

CornEDU
My vote would be for hockey hands down. It is about time we get to play on the ice! Quote Link to comment
HUSKER 37
Don't they teach Fencing at East Campus? Quote Link to comment
bball_backer
Are you sure UNL doesn't have Rifle and Rowing? I coulda sworn they did Quote Link to comment

redout22
I think we need soccer and since we are going to the big 10 we need hockey. Possibly swimming and lacrosse for both women and men too. Quote Link to comment
knapplc
I think we need soccer and since we are going to the big 10 we need hockey. Possibly swimming and lacrosse for both women and men too. Problem is that for every new men's sport we add we have to add an equal number of athletes in women's sports. Right now our budget can't sustain that, so it's not likely to happen. Maybe in a few years once the University has grown. Quote Link to comment

GM_Tood
With the support our ladies get in VB I would go with that for an add to the Men. Quote Link to comment
