Apathy
I recently got a Samsung 55" 120hz LED LCD TV. I'm thinking about trading it in for one that has the 240hz refresh rate. Thoughts about the 240hz refresh rate? Quote Link to comment

shabizzle
might make a little bit of a difference with that large of a screen, but probably not Quote Link to comment
Enhance
Is the one you currently have LED or LCD? If it's LED, stick with the 120 HZ LED. That's pretty top of the line and the 240 hz is really only good if you have nothing better to spend your money on. You won't notice enough of a difference to warrant buying it imho. Its a LED-LCD 120hz Samsung People I know who have the 240Hz refresh rate usually have it turned off. Personally I'd stick with the TV you have as you'd probably see little improvement. Also, if you're just looking to have the newest technology, at CES this year, manufacturers introduced LED TV's at 480 Hz. Quote Link to comment
