I noticed today that all incoming freshman have been added to the roster on Huskers.com, but there is no Braylon Heard. Is this just an oversight, or is something still not clear with his status?

The incoming freshmen were added a while ago. Braylon was added to the online roster last year and given #23 but was taken off when he failed to qualify and hasn't been put back up yet. I don't think it means anything, but I'm not positive.

Has even actually been cleared by the CLearinghouse yet? Last I recall hearing he posted marks that should gain entrance but still had to go through the red tape that is the NCAA. They like to sit on their thumbs when it comes to clearing kids.

He's been in Lincoln for the past couple of months, I dont know if he has been taking classes though.

The coaching staff has been talking publicly about having Heard on the team for months, since spring ball. I'm guessing the online roster is wrong.

I seriously don't think he has officially been cleared by the NCAA yet. I have been looking everywhere and haven't found a thing saying he has. He recieved the score on the ACT that should make him eligible, but as a said earlier the NCAA can clear him whenever. NU has had kids that weren't cleared by the Clearinghouse until almost halfway through fall camp.
