Nice work on the comparisons. We will see what the next two games bring before we get into conference play. There is room for improvement but I'm not one to be all worried and saying we are going to lose 5-6 games. Bo will make the adjustments on Defense...We will make strides on offense each game as we get more comfortable with what we have out there. Go Big Red!

I thought Western Kentucky was slightly better than Tenn Chatt and Fresno State was clearly better than Idaho. Therefore, only big things different I see is that we cut down on penalties, but don't force as many turnovers so far.

I don't know if Western Kentucky is any better than Chattanooga. Sure Chattanooga is FCS, but they're well coached, know how to win games, and will put up a fight. Western Kentucky has just acted like laying down for everyone is their job since they've been in FBS (which hasn't been very long). Not a big difference in talent there either. I think we learn a little more playing teams that are outmatched, but will at least put up a fight. Instead of teams that just lay down and collect their playcheck.

It all boils down to the teams we have played. I think offensively, UTC and Fresno were both better offensively than WKU and Idaho. Defensively we aren't going to make up for the loss of Gomes Hagg and Amukamara in one year. So honestly, I think we're on par from last year to this year after the first two games. Hopefully we're better in conference this year.
