kramer
WHy is Brandon Jackson still number 2, this thing doesn't reflect anything I see on the field. Are they just trying to make him feel good. Quote Link to comment

DaveH
In today's press conference, a question was asked about the depth chart.Specifically Nick Covey moving to #2 on the depth chart behind Ickes. "He gets reps every practice. I don’t have any idea how that game is going to flow. Adam Ickes is the starter, and we have confidence in all our players. Like I said, with these depth charts, the players don’t read too much into that. They just line up and play. They know their roles. They know where they stand. The backups prepare as hard as the starters, and that’s what our team is all about. It’s kind of a selfless attitude about where they are and how they’re going to perform and how they’re going to inject into the contribution on the team." Quote Link to comment
KansasHusker
Is Fluellen in front of Hardy on the depth chart due to Hardy's injury? I would hope so, I feel a lot more comfortable with Frantz on the field instead of Isaiah... Quote Link to comment

Right now, I think Hardy is actually healthier than Fluellen. Quote Link to comment
huskerguy
Why doesnt Josh Mueller (TE #81) start, he isnt the most sure handed TE but he is a great big (6"6) guy. He plays quite a bit for being 3rd string and does a great job out there. Anyone know why he doesnt start? Also wheres Lucky? Quote Link to comment

Why is B Jax #2 when he hasn't been getting the carries like Glenn and Lucky? Like everyone has been saying: the depth chart must not mean anything. Quote Link to comment
StuckinChicago
The depth chart doesnt mean anything. It hasnt changed much at all since the begginning of the season, except for major injuries, and it no way reflects who plays. Callahan said he doesnt care about depth charts and he means it. If the first play he runs fits certain personel, than they will start, if another set, than another set of starters. Doesnt make any difference so there is no point debating it. Quote Link to comment
NamelessHusker
I think Jackson will get some extra playing time this weekend. Last year against Missouri, Ross and Jackson averaged 13 yards a carry between the 2 of them when they were in the rotation. Ross has that 5th year senior instict of finding holes, Jackson has that smooth cutback jerk against defenders when he gets through the hole. Don't be suprised to see Jackson get 7-10 carries in this game. Quote Link to comment
